23.01.2022 2011 Vito 2.2CDI in for an ECU Remap this morning. Customer was complaining about it being under powered especially loaded going up hills. Not the case now it now strongly pulls up hill and is not looking to kick down the gears every time you give it a bit of throttle.

23.01.2022 Our remapping process enhances and optimises the power of the engine within safe limits, not beyond them. Manufacturers have to build in a tolerance for the parts in the engine, to manage the effect of wear and tear, production variations, and to ensure their warranty claims during their warranty period normally 3 years, are kept to a minimum. You will see that the top companies within the market place have all developed tunes for vehicles to similar outputs. Beware of tuners who claim significantly more, it’s either lies hoping that the average customer wouldn’t be able to tell the difference, or the engine is being pushed too hard and will quickly become unreliable.

10.01.2022 BMW X5 40d In for a Remap today these particular ECU's are a tricky one as the programming pads are on the underside of the ECU which is glued to the heat sink part of the cover. Extreme care must be taken when removing the board lots of patience is req. Known as a flip board in the trade.... We have done a few of these X5's with awesome results.
