19.01.2022 Encouraging news for Victorian gyms - fitness facilities and gyms are looking likely to re-open on 26th of October We’re waiting for further information to come through relating to this exciting development. However, we have now been included with a lot of other industries that are allowed to reopen on the 26th of October if numbers are met. Regional Victoria gyms may even be able to open sooner! We don’t know the extent of the restrictions that will be required for... re-opening but we’ll keep everyone posted as soon as we know more . We know gyms can open and operate safely with a robust COVID-Safe plan in place. We have successfully achieved this in Queensland with the endorsement and state-wide implementation of a Fitness Australia-led Fitness Industry COVID Safe Plan and need to make this a priority in Victoria. During this time my passion for overall health and fitness has absolutely sky rocketed. 16.01.2022 Who LOVES chocolate brownies but hates the guilt after eating them?? Look no further because we have tried and tested these gooey sweet potato brownies for you and trust us.... They are AHMAZING!! Ingredients: 1 cup sweet potato purée 2/3 cup maple syrup... 1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 Tbsp avocado oil (or sub melted vegan butter, melted coconut oil, or olive oil) 1/2 cup cocoa powder or cacao powder 1/4 tsp sea salt 1 tsp baking powder 2/3 cup oat flour 1/2 cup chopped raw pecans or walnuts 1/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional) Method: Pre-heat your oven to 176 C and line an 88-inch baking pan (or similar-size pan) with baking paper. In a large mixing bowl, add sweet potato purée, maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, and avocado oil and stir to combine. Add cacao powder, sea salt, and baking powder and stir to combine. Then add oat flour and stir until a thick, scoopable batter is achieved. Transfer batter to your baking dish and spread into an even layer then top with pecans and chocolate chips (optional). Bake on the center rack for 28-32 minutes. The brownie edges should appear slightly dry and a toothpick inserted into the center should come out mostly clean. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 30 minutes 1 hour. Lift out of pan, slice and enjoy See more

13.01.2022 Zucchini muffins! A great savory snack perfect for a mid-morning/mid-afternoon. You could also add some salad on the side for a satisfying and healthy lunch. What’s more, these are excellent in kid's lunch boxes, and can also be baked as a slice and they freeze fantastically well. INGREDIENTS... 1 cups zucchini grated, 375g 1 carrot grated, 80g 125 g tinned corn 1 Onion finely diced, 90g 100 g thinly sliced leg ham chopped 1 cup wholemeal self-raising flour 170g 6 eggs beaten 1 cup grated cheese 130g INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 180C. Lightly spray a 12 hole muffin tin with cooking oil spray. Cook the onion in a nonstick fry pan. Allow cooling. Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined. Divide the mixture between the 12 muffin holes. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until muffins are golden and a skewer comes out clean.

It is very quick and easy to make, it is super healthy AND includes your good fats and carbs to make for the PERFECT after dinner snack!! INGREDIENTS... * 2 ripe avocados, skin and stone removed * 1/2 cup cacao or Naked Chocolate * 1/2 cup organic pure maple syrup - no added sugars * 1/2 cup coconut cream * 1/4 cup cold-pressed coconut oil * 1 teaspoon vanilla bean extract * Pinch of sea salt METHOD * Combine avocado, Naked Chocolate, maple syrup, coconut cream, coconut oil, vanilla and sea salt. * Blend until smooth and creamy. * Divide into serving glasses and refrigerate for 2 - 3 hours to chill completely or enjoy immediately if you can't wait that long . * Decorate with whipped coconut cream or mascarpone, then garnish with freeze-dried or fresh raspberries.

07.01.2022 Do you get to the end of the night after a long day and just want to relax with a cup of tea and a biscuit? We do! That is why we went on the hunt for some simple and tasty cookies we could make that were not full of refined sugar and additives!! BEHOLD... Healthy DOUBLE chocolate cookies with only 54 calories per piece ... This recipe was found by one of our staff members and she gives them a 10/10!! Ingredients: 2 large eggs 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1 tablespoon vegan butter or coconut oil 1/4 cup raw honey 1/4 cup dark 70% chocolate chips (we used Noshu chocolate chips) 1 1/3 cups spelt flour or gluten free all purpose baking flour 2 tablespoons raw cocoa powder or regular cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt Method: Preheat oven to 175. In a bowl whisk eggs and vanilla. In a small saucepan melt butter (or coconut oil) with the dark chocolate chips and the honey. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and whisk until combined. Add in dry ingredients (flour, cocao powder baking powder and soda, and salt), and stir until a smooth cookie batter is achieved. Cover a baking pan with parchment paper. Scoop tablespoon sized portions of the batter into balls and press down lightly to flatten. Bake cookies for 8 minutes until just puffy. Let cool completely then drizzle with some melted chocolate chips if you like Feel free to let our staff members taste test them

03.01.2022 GROUP FITNESS TIMETABLE FROM MONDAY 23RD NOVEMBER We have some exciting news for our Group Fitness program with government restrictions further easing from the 23rd of November More classes will be reintroduced to the Group Fitness timetable.... Participation limits will be increasing to a maximum of 10 Classes will be able to return to our indoor Group Fitness studios. Active Yoga, Shadow, Intensity and THT classes will be re-launched. Booking will still be required for all Group Fitness classes through the Gym Master app and is available 7 days in advance.
