21.01.2022 NON ATTENDANCE AND CANCELLATION FEE POLICY Due to the increasing number of Non-Attendances regardless of appointment confirmation, AMP Pitt Town will now be introducing a Non Attendance and Cancellation Fee. Can’t make it? Simply call our friendly reception staff during business hours at least four hours prior to your appointment and organise another appointment. That way, we stay on time and you avoid late fees. ... Unexpected emergency? Call us when possible to let us know you’re OK. We always take extenuating circumstances into consideration. If you fail to attend an appointment or give inadequate notice of your non-attendance on the day of your consultation, a Non Attendance fee of $20.00 will be charged to your account, payable prior to your next appointment. We are a busy practice and have people waiting for appointments, so we appreciate a phone call if you are unable to attend or if you are running late to your appointment. If you cancel your appointment without providing adequate notice during business hours, the cancellation fee of $20.00 will also apply. If we are provided with adequate notice, this enables Reception staff to phone patients' on our waiting lists to offer them an appointment. We thank you for your understanding.

20.01.2022 Attention Patients' Please be advised Dr Sonia Foley will be on leave from 21st July until 3rd August. Upon her return, Dr Foley will be based at our Windsor Practice. 19.01.2022 Testing Criteria for COVID-19 has been updated over the last 24hrs. Please ensure that you are familiar with the critera. NSW Health have issued the following update in regards to Testing Criteria as at 17 March. ... - Travellers from overseas with onset of respiratory symptoms or fever within 14 days of return - Close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases with respiratory symptoms or fever within 14 days of last contact - Healthcare workers with recent onset of respiratory symptoms AND fever irrespective of travel history. Healthcare workers who have fever OR respiratory symptoms should be assessed for testing on a case by case basis - Patients admitted to hospital with acute respiratory illness or unexplained fever - Patients with acute respiratory illness or fever in high risk settings such as hospitals, aged care facilities, residential care facilities, boarding schools, cruise ships - Patients with acute respiratory illness or fever presenting with reported links to settings where COVID-19 outbreaks have occurred - Patients with unexplained respiratory symptoms or fever in Aboriginal rural and remote communities

19.01.2022 TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS Dr Beasley, Dr Davis and Dr Foley are now able to provide Telehealth Consults to all patients who meet the criteria. These appointments are also able to be made via our online booking provider, HottDoc if you meet the criteria. Below is the criteria which needs to be met;... Telehealth services will be available to: people isolating themselves at home on the advice of a medical practitioner, in accordance with home isolation guidance issued by the AHPPC, and people who meet the current national triage protocol criteria for suspected COVID-19 infection after consultation with either the national COVID-19 hotline, state COVID-19 hotlines, registered medical or nursing practitioner or COVID-19 trained health clinic triage staff people aged over 70 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged over 50 people with chronic health conditions or who are immunocompromised parents with new babies and people who are pregnant.

06.01.2022 New Location for Hawkesbury Testing Clinic A new Hawkesbury drive-through COVID clinic is operating from today at Hawkesbury Showgrounds. This replaces the walk-in clinic operated from a mobile van at Hawkesbury Hospital, which has now closed. The COVID clinic is located at Hawkesbury Showground via Gate 3 Racecourse Road, Clarendon and is open from 10am to 12:30pm & 1pm to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
