25.01.2022 FTO Wet-Wednesday it was and ten brave souls put their vehicles to the test at Adventure 4WD HQ in the Barossa. A mixed bag of vehicles crawled up and down and in and out, of the lumps, the bumps and the mud and had apparently a great old time of it. Thanks to Ian and Lynn, John and Brian, Michael and Peter, Matt and Aaron and Michael and son Phoenix, who at 12 years of age and driving Dad's Porsche has now got some serious bragging rights with the kids back at school!

25.01.2022 It’s always a special moment when you take delivery of a new vehicle and we’ve been hanging out for the arrival of this baby. Meet the Devil’s truck 666, a brand new Isuzu D-MAX thanks to the fine folk at Isuzu UTE Australia and already pressed into heavy duty service on the Coorong in SA on an ATV training program lugging one of the Grizzlies and the Rhino to site. We’ll be making plenty of noise about this new D-MAX in the coming months via Adventure 4WD blogs and on our sister site Loaded 4X4

24.01.2022 And here's one from last Saturday the 24th October out in the wilds at Adventure 4WD HQ in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Thanks to Kevin and Scott, Mark and Stuart and Rhys and Chris for tagging along. Glad you learnt some beaut new skills!

24.01.2022 A beautiful day in the Barossa on our November edition of COVIDSUCKS. Use the discount coupon COVIDSUCKS and we’ll take 20% of the cost of our First Time Out course saving you $97, pay only $388 per vehicle and permitting two attending drivers. Here’s a couple of early pics of today’s attendees, more tonight.

22.01.2022 Big shout out to Matt, Justine and Ann who are at the pointy end of protecting our lands from the ravages of drought and flood, two completely polar opposites when it comes to successfully piloting a 4WD off the beaten track. Nice to have you all along last week in your Toyota twins.

20.01.2022 COVID does suck! As you are all likely aware South Australia finds itself in the grip of a lockdown as of midnight tonight and all activities grind to a halt for the next six days. So it brings us great displeasure to say that we're in a holding pattern in here at A4WD until the results are revealed from the Statewide testing done in the coming days and a new Government decree is issued. We'll still be manning the phones and the emails so feel free to contact us about your ...driver/rider training and hire equipment needs and we'll do our best to service those requests. In the meantime stay safe and hopefully next week we'll be back and ready to go once more! Regards, David and Rose Wilson Email - [email protected] Phone - 08 8342 0202 or 0429 097 994

20.01.2022 Here's my latest piece for Loaded 4X4 and it'll be of interest to those of you who like their vehicles of the German persuasion. Existing Amarok and Ranger will finish soon and be morphed into a Ford T6 platform with separate body styles in the same fashion as new D-MAX and BT-50. I pondered what the VW version would look like and landed on their prototype from 2018, the Atlas Tanoak (weird name for a car but it's a big American tree). https://loaded4x4.com.au/amarok-new-love-child-of-ranger/

18.01.2022 We live in fascinating times automotive-ly at the moment because we're at the crossroads of change. ICE's (that's internal combustion engines) are on the nose in many parts of the world and about to be legislated out-of-existence and it'll affect a lot of legacy car builders. Jeep's got a foot in each camp, the hybrid 4Xe Wrangler has got a fair bit of EV in its heart whereas the recently released 392 is a crazy Vee-Eight Kraken of a thing. Can't wait to hear one in full-song! In the meantime here's the dirt on it... https://loaded4x4.com.au/you-know-you-want-one-wrangler-392/

16.01.2022 We've had a couple of goes with our legendary FTO (First Time Out) program in recent weeks, here's a few pics from the mid-week one on the 14th October. Thanks to the Adams crew in their immaculate 100 series and Julie and Chris in their Ranger... nice work everyone!

13.01.2022 Our COVIDSUCKS promotion has proven to be a real hit with new and novice 4WDrivers looking to get their skills in shape and in readiness for their own COVID adventure. Now that there's some relaxation on restrictions for travel there's never been a better opportunity to travel the SA Outback and coast because you won't be going overseas anytime soon. We've enjoyed bumper to bumper FTO (that's First Time Out) participation in the last couple of months so we're extending the C...OVIDSUCKS promotion until further notice! Normally FTO costs $485/vehicle, but with the COVIDSUCKS discount offer pay only $388 and save nearly $100! To comply with safe-distancing requirements and to ensure your safety and ours, we've distilled the program into a single day and conducted at our exclusive training grounds in the Barossa in the open air. Not only that but we're now offering mid-week dates in addition to our traditional Saturday offering. Join us on Wednesday dates 23 September, 14 October, 18 November OR Saturday dates 24 October, 7 November and 5 December. All you need is a 4WD, your lunch and we'll take care of the rest! if you haven't got your own 4WD contact our good friends at Complete Ute and Van Hire as they have plenty of late-model utes and wagons prepared and ready to go! You'll be learning from a team with the most respected expertise in the country, 27 years in business and keeping South Australians employed. Nobody knows better than us what makes a 4WD tick as we also publish the national 4WD magazine Loaded 4X4 right here in SA. To book call David on either (08)8342 0202 or 0429 097 994 or book online at www.adventure4wd.com.au and use the COVIDSUCKS coupon. Special thanks to Andy Manners for the brilliant camera work and editing of this film shot on location in the Barossa Valley and not forgetting the stunt-driving and other assistance lent by Georgia Wilson and Drew Symonds on the day. 09.01.2022 Up at Adventure 4WD HQ today doing some track work ahead of tomorrow’s FTO. Love the versatility of the Rhino, a beaut mini ute and yes... I’m bogged!

09.01.2022 With the school holidays looming and a bunch of camper trailers and caravans likely coming out of storage, these pearls of wisdom might come in handy! https://www.isuzuute.com.au//featured-ar/hitch-your-wagon

09.01.2022 Road trip. Whenever the flag goes up and training in Ceduna has to be delivered... I’m the man for the job. Don’t even have to think about it as there’s a bag packed and ready to go 24/7. So thanks to the good folk at DCP for your splendid hospitality and good cheer. Here’s some pics from this week’s training. Next, Coffin Bay.
