21.01.2022 Goodbye! X Class - Navara Dual cab failure. This is one of the worst sleights of hand motoring attempts on the worldwide car-buying public. Trying to pass off a Nissan Navara ute as Mercedes product. The Navara is an excellent vehicle and recognised as a Nissan. Most people buying this type of vehicle do research and know the market. In our opinion, one of the main reasons for the failure is, not enough promotion was done to attract buyers off this type of utes. Better luck next time Mercedes. 11.01.2022 The 2020 Land Rover Defender is finally available for order for those that want one. I haven't seen one in the flesh as yet but what I do have, is some indication of the price. It's vastly improved on the previous model with all the techy safety and international legal requirements. This command a hefty price hike, this isn't an issue as you get what you pay for. You'll be looking at a starting price of approximately $95,000 AUD plus options such as engine choice and lifestyl...e packs. Here lies the problem, the person buying the new Defender is unlikely to take it off-road because of the high purchase price. The old defender was a platform vehicle. You could develop it to suit your 4x4 off-road driving. If you have an older Defender and your planning to upgrade, I recommend keeping it until you do your homework on the new 2020 Defender. If you do choose to upgrade, still keep the old one.
