24.01.2022 Next Sunday is our Seabird to Ledge Point visitors day trip. Seabird is a quiet, peaceful escape just an hour’s drive from Perth. Seabird was originally where lobster fishing boats housed their crew. Seabird can be used as a base to explore other areas and activities including the Lancelin sand dunes, canoeing down the Moore River, Gingin markets or star gazing at the Gravity Discovery Centre. The local tavern provides 180 degree views of the ocean and magnificent sunsets.

18.01.2022 Sunday is our Seabird to Ledge Point visitors day trip. Ledge Point is a small coastal town 105km north of Perth. It was established to service the local fishing and cray fishing industries. The town’s name originates from the nearby coastal feature of rocky ledges that was first described in 1875 . The Gingin Road Board requested that land be set aside in the area in 1937 for camping and recreation. The town was gazetted in 1955.

13.01.2022 Trip report: Dwellingup, 18 October Our convoy of 6 set off just after 9am and a coffee boost. After following some fence lines, we came across a steep downhill with heavy ruts. Everyone aired down and made it down safe. After lunch on a hill overlooking some fields, we gave some winching assistance to one of our visitors. The last section was again steep and heavily rutted - 3 vehicles tackled it with success, 3 took an alternative route. Aired back up and headed to the pub.
13.01.2022 Our recent Seabird Visitors trip was a great day out on the tracks with a fantastic turn out and a few newbies joining in to experience a bit of 4wding. Nothing like a day playing in the sand!
12.01.2022 No trips for us til end of the month so thought we would reminisce with some photos from past trips
10.01.2022 Recce this weekend for our Seabird to Ledge Point day trip on 29 November. The beach was fairly narrow in places and the wet weather made the sand firmer than normal. Should be a good trip. Who's in?
10.01.2022 Member profile: Glen, Jeanette, Elijah and Brayden When did you the join the club? 2018 Why did you join the club? We were travelling solo on the CSR in 2017 and we happened to hop and skip around another group on the track. We had many interactions with them and found that they were a very happy and easy going bunch of people. We were surprised to discover that they were part of an organised club. Although a bit hesitant in joining a club, as past experiences had shown us t...hat things can get very political and cliquey in a club, we joined for a few club trips and found that everyone had a very relaxed and genuine outlook on life which was very similar to ourselves. Favourite memory from a club trip? We really enjoy the laughs around the campfire. The group is also very supportive of the younger generations that are now starting to join the trips in their own 4WD vehicles. Best thing about being in a club? The laughs and security in travelling in a group. We have been lucky enough to travel extensively to most of Australia's iconic and remote four wheel drive destinations. We now look forward to sharing future adventures in the Australian outback that we love so much with our fellow club members.
10.01.2022 Bit of rain on the east coast! When will you next have your 4WD out on the tracks?
09.01.2022 A boab tree, the sunset, long grass and cattle. This picture has got it all when it comes to WA's Kimberley region! Show us your best sunset shots below... Penney Hayley in Kununurra.
07.01.2022 Member profile - meet Steve "I went looking for a club back in 2009 when I changed 4WDs. I wanted to do more challenging driving and my mates weren't into 4WD so I thought a club would fit the bill. In 2010 I went on a few day trips and then finally joined the club. There have been so many great trips but driving down the Moore River on a night run for the first time definitely stands out. The best part of being in the club is being with like minded people who help you gain the confidence and skill to get out and enjoy using the fourby."
04.01.2022 Happy NAIDOC Week everyone
