04.01.2022 Nothing says Happy Hump Day like an albino Bennetts Wallaby coming to visit our farm shop especially when their joey young sticks their head out of mums pouch just in time for a photo With only an estimated population size of 200 ‘White Wallabies’ in the wild, Bruny Island is the only place in the world where you can see these majestic creatures. This rare genetic mutation of the Bennett’s Wallaby is the result of an imbalance of melanin which gives these individuals pink eyes, nose and claws as well as snow white fur. If you find yourself travelling to Bruny Island, spotting one of these incredible animals is one worthy of the bucket list!
