18.01.2022 Welcome March! 18 days from today last year we were about to enter into our first lockdown. Our team was attending the Australian Body Art Awards convention in Queensland. Our flights were cancelled and some very stressful moments and unforeseen circumstances to follow. 06.01.2022 Brushes, Brushes and more brushes...it is always a struggle when learning about makeup which brushes to buy and what each of them do?!? At the end of the day brushes can be used for a variety of techniques not just for what it is advertised to do. For example a pointed concealer/foundation brush can be used for ANY creamy products like contouring, liquid blushes and many more! It is important to have a few of the same or similar brush especially if you want to transition or g...o back and forth we with a lighter or darker colour for example or if you are a serial non brush cleaner! If you are just beginning or are interested in purchasing brushes, it is definitely worth investing in a quality set that will last and have the essentials you require. A great set is from #zoeva which is a high quality option with great variety and another great option is the #morphebrushes Another pro tip is WASH your brushes! You are collecting bacteria and oils from your skin every time you use them. To ensure a flawless makeup application, you MUST have clean brushes! P.s it is more hygienic to do this If they are natural hair Brushes you can use a natural vegan brush cleanser with like warm water and remember to dry them upside down or on an angle so that the water does not go into the feral- the metal part of the brush- otherwise it will destroy the brush ( DO NOT USE ALCOHOL) this will for certain damage your natural brush hairs. For synthetic brushes you can use the $2 velvet soap under running warm water or an alcohol spray, shampoo or a brush cleanser. Keep them clean! There is nothing better than the original beauty blender. We have tried and tested so many different ones and nothing beats the original. It is $30 for a SPONGE BUT it is a great product and you not only can use it for blending your foundation and contour creams but you can SET your makeup with a powder afterward!
