24.01.2022 What a great double Pilates Wednesday in Warburton. Thank you to beautiful Penny from @nature_deva for the gorgeous immunity oil blends to breathe in as we practice, and special hand sanitizer! Everyone is asked to sign a waiver on arrival stating they haven’t experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the past two weeks, and haven’t been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms. All equipment used is disinfected with our Eucalyptus spray before and after use and social dis...tancing rules apply. 18.01.2022 This is so disappointing, not just that this talented player didn’t get to even set foot on the court during the indigenous round but even more disappointing that she is the only indigenous player in the league! I know the talent of our Aboriginal girls and that they love their netball so if the talent is there then where is the pathway, where is the opportunity for them to play! The time for change was in our past so today there needs to be action in so many ways to close this gap!
18.01.2022 I love that this pandemic has encouraged people to take their bodies out in their backyard more. We may be in isolation but there can still be freedom in that. With restrictions and keeping to social distancing sadly we can only fit 10 people per class, I wish the whole town could come but you can always book in for next week by calling or messaging me. My weekly practice includes activities that I’ll do once or maybe a few depending on energy and what I’m feeling. These include: Pilates, kayaking, running, tree climbing, dancing, yoga and skateboarding ... What are you favourite activities? From the food you put into your bodies, make that an act of self love, if you choose from the earth if you’re choosing a sweet then choose from love without judgement or self sabotage. The same goes for your movement if you’re choosing to be sedentary do with love to nurture and rest if you’re choosing a high intensity workout then move with the intent to always be giving back. 12.01.2022 We’re lost, we’re numb, we’re angry, we’re scared, we’re heartbroken. We’re living in a time that we don’t understand. People are dying, we feel divided, we feel alone. We’re questioning what is real, what is truth because everything is unknown. Take a breath, you are here, look around, what is in front of you is real, reach out, you’re never alone.... We’ve been living in a state of anxiety since the first fires started blazing in 2019 the world as we know it changed, it changed too fast for us to keep up and we’ve been tripping over trying to plant our feet ever since but it’s one thing after the other and that’s scary I know. So take a breath, plant your feet in the earth, because our environment, our world even our politicians are all asking us to slow down. We’ve all been injured and when you’re injured you need to slow down to heal. It’s hard I know but we’ll feel better soon. Seek comfort in the little things, the long cups of tea, the sun on your skin, the voice of someone you love that brings warmth to your heart. The earth is healing, the spring flowers are blooming and you are healing, you’re growing and will flourish again soon. Be patient my loved ones we’ve all got each other
