25.01.2022 What an awesome meeting tonight. Steve spoke about the need for continuous power and how to do just that!! Kimberly spoke about the prevalence of bowel cancer in young people... Hannah gave us humorous reasons to negotiate at your next performance appraisal (always ask for 12% ) And Annette talked about perfection and her funny trip to find it. The executive met to catch up and work on projects for next year oh and our up and coming Christmas party (ho ho ho) Always onwards and upwards!! Dont forget we meet on a Monday night 5.45pm on the first and third Monday of the month. We look forward to seeing you there!!!

22.01.2022 Each Meeting we have a Boastmasters, where members can boast about their achievements since the last meeting. Its a great way to acknowledge the great work we do in and out of toastmasters. This meeting we had 2 amazing boasts ... @MatthewDay - our VP Education flew to Melbourne to enter the Spartan obstacle race. Not only did he participate, not only did he get on the podium, he actually won in his age group!!! Forever to be known as Matt The Spartan Day!! Annette Mayfield- our VP membership entered the Raw Comedy Qld heat. Well done!!! Doing Stand up comedy is seriously one of the hardest things to do. So well done Annette for being so super courageous!! What have you got to boast about? Let us know!!!

01.01.2022 What an amazing meeting we had tonight. Thank you to all the guests who made it extra special. Francis was a toastmaster tonight, brilliant job keeping us on track and moving along. Speeches from Matt and Annette, we learnt about the magic of communication and mentoring. ... Kimberly gave us an educational on table topics, something tells me that she could have gone on for hours about her fav subject. Richard and Rory did a great job in engaging our members and guests in impromptu speaking, well dont to those who got up for the first time. Alex lead us in a storytelling exercise that was hilarious and everyone had a quick addition to the story. Steve did a great job with his first attempt at general evaluator. Where the meeting as a whole is evaluated and points of improvement given so we can make our meetings run better next time. All together brilliant!! See you all at our Christmas Party.
