25.01.2022 Edmund Hillary and his son Peter go on a thrilling ride through the heart of India aboard three jet boats. They navigate the Ganges’ tiger infested delta, cross its vast, fertile flood plains, struggle up gorges guarded by fearsome rapids towards its sacred origins among the peaks of the Himalaya. Then, near the Ganges’ snowy source the unthinkable happened. The first man to climb the world’s highest mountain succumbed to severe altitude sickness. The story of the desperate race by his friends and son to save his life has never been told. Presented by the film-maker Michael Dillon, this incredible film will be shown at the Adventure Travel Film Festival in February.
