24.01.2022 Day 1- lots of driving but we are happy to be close to the QLD border! Tonight’s stay is at Barkly Homestead

22.01.2022 Been here since Feb, no Covid That should stop weird looks and the questions! #covid19 #ntplates

22.01.2022 We spent the 1st night at the homestead then decided to head over to the "Secret Fishing Spot" which isn't so secret! We were so lucky that nobody was there and we got the best spot to camp. We had the best 2 days here just fishing, drinking beers and listening to our fav tunes! This was absoulte paradise... we do have video footage of the fish catching but we now realise how much we swear If you head to @lorellaspringswildernesspark be sure to put the beach on your list...! We definately will be back Next stop Rosie's Camp 2 , we decided to have a quick refresh at Alaska Pool before going to the river. Millicent loved the warm water that came out of the pipe and didn't want to get out! We were refreshed and clean so on we went until that horrible noise of the tyre getting a sidewall blowout so from nice and clean to dusty and dirty 15mins to change the tyre and we were off again on the hunt for another fishing spot! @ Lorella Springs Wilderness Park

21.01.2022 Here we go again, it's time to leave our second home and continue what we tried to start before covid hit! We have loved catching up with old friends and making new ones here in Alice! Its definitely not good bye it's see you later We are super keen to hit the road and make the most of our days not just waiting for the weekend! Find us heading north crossing the border to Qld to explore some really amazing spots we can't wait to share with you all! ... Heading off next week! #adventuringnownotlater #queensland #familyadventures #caravanlife #travellingwithkids

21.01.2022 Dundee Beach was so beautiful! We treated ourselves to 3 nights in a 2 bedroom bungalow after being attacked by mosquitos on the 1st night in the swags! Amazing sunsets every night while having dinner at the pub and plenty of fishing although we didnt get many keepers! We also had a few visitors come and spend a few nights which was awesome! Cheers Uncle Row Row, @_bryceobrien and @annabeltayles @ Dundee Beach

19.01.2022 Lunch stop and a leg stretch!

18.01.2022 It’s amazing how much crap you can accumulate while being in 1 spot for just over 6 months! The past week we have been cleaning and stocking the van, Prado serviced just waiting on tyres and just trying to catch up with everyone before we head off! We can’t wait to explore Queensland

18.01.2022 Lawn Hill was a place we got recommended to go and we loved it! Apart from realising how unfit we both are and having to carry Millicent the whole bloody way the sights were amazing! We swam with fresh water crocs although thank god we never saw any. We stayed at Adels Grove which was so lovey we decided to stay an extra night! It was hot but the swims made it all worth it and we met an awesome family Kel, Nev, Nash and Nate who we enjoyed getting to know in such a short time! Hope to catch you guys again! This place is definitely one to put on the list even though our van is yet to be cleaned out from all the dust!

17.01.2022 The Epic 4WD from Dundee to Berry Springs! It all started with Bryce mentioning to go on a bit of a drive to check out a few abandoned mines on the way home, it turned into just a casual 7hr trek with all different landscapes from rocky water crossings to bull dust plains, huge termite mounds and hillclimbs. What an adventure and we are so glad to share it with Bryce and Annabell, so cheers for the sick photos

16.01.2022 Well yesterday started off well we hit the red dirt towards Miyumba Bush Camp! We made it to Gregory, had a quick fuel up and off we headed. Follow Google Maps they said..... in 200m turn left! Yeah no worries google thanks for getting us lost on a station for 6hrs!!!!! After finally locating a route towards the camp with no reception we headed directly to it with 2 locked gates but we still made it!! Thanks to Cody’s quick thinking and no broken locks. 8:30pm we were tired... and over the dirt to then unlock the van and see the dirt disaster that awaited us in the van. Mandz’s heart dropped and her OCD is still through the roof @wbooltoyota @jaycoprestige #adventuringnow #travellingwithkids #outbackqld

16.01.2022 After having a short and sweet visit in Darwin with some of our favs! We then headed to Tomato Island which was an awesome campground in the Limmen National Park! Had to hang around some billabongs in reception so Mandz could place some Intimo orders then we were on our way, we were headed to Lorella Springs! We found a fishing spot we had been to before with @emmab3ll and @dazzy170 called towns river, like last time we didnt catch a thing but Mandz hooked a Barra but didn't land it. There were lots of fish but nothing too keen to jump on! Next stop... @lorellaspringswildernesspark

16.01.2022 Harts Range 2020

15.01.2022 Cody couldnt help himself at the 20km sand dune! #finketrack #ooraminnahomesteadlunch #sundayfunday

15.01.2022 Not even 1 week on the road and we’re feeling like grey nomads already.

13.01.2022 Take the time to do what you love! Having time together to explore the Top End of the NT has been amazing and discovering new things as a family has been more than we expected! When your toddler tells you shes "happy" we know we are living! @mytopend #mytopend #adventuringnownotlater #wangifalls

12.01.2022 We headed to a free camp at Julia Creek which is a fully self contained camp area! Arrived just in time to catch the beautiful sunset and up early to beat the rain and watch the amazing sunrise! Charters Towers was next on the list and we booked into the Aussie Outback Oasis Big 4 on a powered site to tackle our mountain of washing and clean some of the dust out of the van! We met a bloody hilarious couple Jodie and Nick cheers for the laughs guys, can’t wait to catch up again! We checked out The Weir, it was a great little adventure out the road to finally see some water.

11.01.2022 Highlights of Lorella Springs! Nudie Hot Springs- somebody better call Barry cause this spot is living! Beer in hand and a relax in the springs makes your day! You can even camp there! Nanny's Retreat- What a beautiful gorge! The walk in reads 800m but its more of a 1.6, the water is cool but once you dive in and swim through its breathtaking (literally) Millicent was a pro and swam the entire gorge by herself (she has a buoyancy vest) plenty of rocks to climb and caves to... look in! We loved our time at @lorellaspringswildernesspark and it's definitely a place we will return to, it has a lot to offer

10.01.2022 Pool days are the best and Millicent isn’t afraid of the water!

06.01.2022 Rosie's Camp 2.... well we had very low expectations when we arrived. Let us set the scene, we parked at the camp site on the cliff top, it was so windy! Thought atleast if we camp here the crocs can't come eat us. Millicent was cranky and needed a sleep, Mandz was cranky and most likely needed one too we decide to get Millicent's swag off the roof and put her down and once she wakes we will go check another camp out. Cracked a beer put a few rods out and thought we would s...ee how we go! After over an hour a family rocked up as asked us what the fishing is like, we reply crap but if you want to camp up there go for it as we will leave soon literally 5mins later..... Cody is on with a Queenie! So for the next 2hrs we are pulling in fish after fish. Mandz is now keen and that locked in our night at Rosie Camp 2! Check the fresh fish for dinner and across the river back burns. Turned out to be the perfect night! See more

01.01.2022 Lunch with a view with Chippy and Jo Ooraminna Homestead!
