25.01.2022 In the face of COVID-19, AE has pioneered a fresh approach to evangelism. By training believers to share the Gospel through their testimonies on social media and in small groups, thousands of other Africans have come to know Jesus in 2020! It remains crucial to continue these strategies and reach more people with the hope of the Gospel to transform Africa. Please give today to close the $150,000 funding gap so thousands more may be reached in the days and months ahead. Thank you!

21.01.2022 One of our supporters has blessed the AE DRC team with a new car. This will enable the team to safely cover the long distances they need to travel, evangelise and respond to needs. A huge thank you from AE DRC!

15.01.2022 In 2018, a group of 12 boys and 3 girls from Rwanda formed a self-help group called Twitezimbere Rubyiruko (TR) which means youth in development. The formation of this group was facilitated by AE Rwanda in partnership with Help A Child, with the purpose of strengthening the capacity and growth of its members. The group joined a TVET program that helped them to learn skills in carpentry for six months. When they completed the course, the group received startup kits which he...lped them to create a workshop. Today, TR group is making a huge impact in the community by making furniture for schools and health centers. The team is earning a monthly minimum of FRW 150,000 which is equivalent to approximately USD 150. All group members are now able to contribute to the well-being of their families and save some money every month. This group has a message to all youth in Rwanda, and it is a message of hope and hard work. No one should be hopeless if he is alive. One of the team members by the name of Senga said, We seemed to be useless and hopeless but now we see a bright light ahead of us.

10.01.2022 Cyprian Mbogori is happy that he received Christ as his personal savior alongside his wife and two kids. This was a moment of joy despite the family's recent struggles. About a month ago, Cyprian's legs and stomach started swelling while the other parts of his body were becoming thin. As a result, his wife is the breadwinner of the family despite needing to take care of her children. Cyprian thanks God for sending the missioners who shared the gospel and prayed with him and his family. He has also requested prayer for healing and that God would receive the glory in all situations. Please join with us as we uphold this family in prayer. #merunorthharvest

08.01.2022 Nailuba Zarika is 20 years old from Nampu Village, Uganda. She was born with physical disability on her legs. Nailuba is currently living with her grandmother who pledged to take care of her after both her parents died when she was just 3 years old. Due to difficulties in her movement, she dropped out of primary school. Her manual wheel chair that was donated to her by a good samaritan was in sorry state and she had no one to facilitate its repair and maintenance. In January ...2020, Nailuba was enrolled in a Technical Vocational Education Training (TVET) project in Kigandalo Sub-County. However, she used to be late for her weekly life skills sessions because of her wheelchair's poor condition. Nailuba’s dream came true on the 18th of August when her wheelchair was taken for repair and maintenance by AE Uganda in partnership with Stromme Foundation. On receiving her repaired wheelchair, she said I really thank God for AE and Stromme Foundation for repairing my wheelchair, May God bless you so much. I used to be late for training but now I’m always number one at the training centre because my transport is so easy. She hopes to train hard in hairdressing and to use her weekly savings to start her own saloon where she can earn money to support her grandmother and personal development.

05.01.2022 WORLD AIDS DAY Our Mwanza HIV and AIDS Education Project in Tanzania aims to provide guidance and education on these conditions. The training discusses what the Bible says about sex and marriage, the importance of abstience until marriage, prevention strategies, and how to reduce stigmas by reaching out with godly love. Diana said the following about the class: "The project training has assisted me to freely discuss with my friends and relatives the reasons why HIV and AIDS ...is a dangerous disease. It has no cure and no vaccine up to date. The disease has no discrimination, it can infect and affect any person regardless their personality or status. HIV and AIDS is not spread by shaking hands, hugging or touching." "Now I have a positive attitude towards delaying sex (abstinence) as the only good way to prevent me from getting this disease. I no longer feel guilt when I turn down sexual offers. Initially I feared being disliked, criticised or risking friendships by my peers. I am grateful to African Enterprise for exposing me to HIV and AIDS education." There are approximately 38 million people living with HIV/AIDS around the world.

04.01.2022 On the 27th of November, AE Rwanda's Rusizi branch partnered with Help a Child to provided startup kits to TVET graduates and Self-Help Group members. Ten graduates from welding school received ten welding machines and other tools. Five graduates from tailoring trade received five sewing machines. After training in beekeeping, three youth and five adults received modern beehives, honey extractors and other related materials. These toolkits cost a total of FRW 5,900,000 (~AUD 8,100).

01.01.2022 PROCLAIM DAY 1 In recent months, the Coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on the planning and holding of numerous global events. The need for social distancing and self-isolation has meant that it is no longer responsible to hold live events or bring large groups of people together in a central location. Proclaim 2020 African Evangelists Congress is not an exception. The initially planned in-person Congress has gone virtual and better for many who may not have been able... to attend. Proclaim 2020 African Evangelist Congress will be holding its Virtual Congress from today until the 3rd of December 2020. The online gathering will bring together over 1500 evangelists from the 54 nations of Africa to connect, reflect, pray and strategise on the total evangelisation of Africa. The congress theme is ‘Let Africa hear and proclaim the Gospel’. We desire to see a new generation of African evangelists who are passionate about proclaiming the Gospel connected, equipped, mentored and working together to effectively evangelise all African nations.
