02.01.2022 For me, the draw to photography has always been the opportunity to interpret the grandeur of the natural environment. Places that are beyond us in time and scale. With a screen the size of our hands often being the only platform for these images to be shared, I began looking for ways to reintroduce the impressiveness that originally drew me to these places. Over the past year I have been experimenting with papers and materials in order to find a medium that does the subject... justice. I am excited to say that after many trials I have found a paper stock that produces incredible colour and detail. To compliment and complete the artworks, I will be using sustainably sourced Australian hardwoods to frame the images and an archival manufacturing process to ensure these prints last a lifetime.
