24.01.2022 Devkota shines as AE Global XI register their first win in the Buddha Bhumi Cup 01 AE Global XI has won the first match against Sagarmatha CC on the opening week of Buddha Bhumi Cup 01 with 6 wickets. Winning the toss captain Bishal Thapa opted to bowl first where Globals were able to stop Sagarmatha CC for 109/5 in 20 overs. Subodh Basnet picked up 2 wickets was the pick of the bowlers. Chasing 110, Globals did not get the start that they wished for. With captain Thapa depar...ting on the very first over and followed by in form Subodh Basnet and Sanam singh thakuri, the team was 11/3 at one stage. A 46 run 4th wicket partnership with Pravin Basnet followed by a 53 run 5th wicket partnership with Arun Banjara, MOM Bibek Devkota scored a not out 58 of 55 balls. 19.01.2022 Yet another MATCH.. yet another WIN and yet another MOM for Bibek Devkota AE Global XI has successfully registered their second win today against Kankai nepalese cricket club by 5 wickets. Winning the toss and batting first KNCC got of to a relatively slow start, however some wonderful middle order performance helped them set up a challenging target of 136. Bibek devkota among the bowlers took 2 wickets giving away 23 runs in 4 overs. Dinesh karki, Pratik regmi, Suraj saud an...d Saddam ali picked up a wicket each. Chasing 136, captain Bishal Thapa started the innings with authority and setting up a momentum for the middle order with his 36 of 32 balls. Bibek Devkota once again taking the responsibility on his back held his nerves to take his side to the win. He made 44 of 34 balls and created a good 5th wicket partnership of 57 of 38 balls with Pravin Basnet. Pravin ended his innings with 22 not out in 24 balls. And the smile continues

17.01.2022 A forgetful day for AE Global XI AE Global XI's tournament run has come to an end after Buddha Bhumi outclassed the Globals on all departments. Winning the toss and batting first AE Global was never allowed to settle down following an outstanding bowling and fielding display by the BBCC. Amid regular wickets falling from one end captain Bishal Thapa hung on at the other before falling 1 run short of his half century.... Chasing a small total of 115 BBCC never looked in a rush. The openers took their time and played their strokes with all their senses to seal their spot on the knockouts. AE Global aims to hold their nerves, learn from the mistakes and start working on it as NCAA season just around the corner. Keep supporting.

13.01.2022 Globals shocked amid the flying start.. 74 runs first wicket partnership within 50 balls.. 98 for 2 in 11.3 overs while chasing 166 AE Global XI were cruising towards victory. Lack of intensity and focus the middle order collapsed and Terai Tigers won the match. Losing the toss and and invited to bat TTSC got a flying start with both openers charging the bowlers all over the ground. TTSC got to 165 before getting all out at 19.4 overs. ... Chasing 166, Subodh Basnet was in no mood to waste any time and with Pravin Basnet on the other side Global got of to a flyer but could not capitalise the start later in the innings. 13.01.2022 3 IN A ROW FOR GLOBALS AE Global XI registers their 3rd consecutive win today in the pre season friendly match against Allrounder XI. Loosing the toss and fielding first Globals got the start they wanted with few early wickets, however some good solid middle order batting helped Allrounder reach a decent score of 143 in the allocated 20 overs. Saddam and Ramesh picked 2 wickets each were the pick of the bowlers.... Chasing 144 against a decent bowling side was not easy specially when 3 top order batsman were back without troubling the score board. Team was 25 for 4 at one stage. Captain Bishal Thapa then leading from the front made a well structured 71 not out of 43 balls and was supported by Sanam Pandey (20 of 13) and Subodh Basnet (18 of 12). AE Global XI won the match by 4 wickets and 2 overs to spare. Some talent addition to the squad displayed a promising performance today as the team gets ready for their second season.

12.01.2022 AE Global's winning run continues Another win against Expert CC today help register 4 in a row victory for AE Global XI. Losing the toss Global's were invited to bat first on a wet conditions. Opener Jwala Bikram Shahi and Sanam Singh Thakuri provided a decent start with the bat. 72/3 in 10 overs team was heading to a big total and then the middle order had no answers to Expert's disciplined bowling. AE Global XI could not bat 20 overs and were bowled out for 117 in the 18th ...over. The only thing that Globals had before the start of second inning was Belief in themselves. Expert started of well with the bat with few boundaries upfront. However, wickets kept falling on a regular interval for expert. Brilliant on the field globals restricted experts under 100. Expert were bowled out for 98 in the 18th over. Sanam Pandey & Bibek devkota picked up 2 wickets each whereas captain Bishal Thapa again got 3 wickets. 11.01.2022 AE Global falls 5 runs short as RM Neupane played his final match for the Globals.. Third match of the league for AE Global XI of the competition against Naya CC was not only an important match for competition perspective but also an emotional importance as one of the senior and founder of the team played his final match for the team. On a match where Globals were comfortable for entire game, gave away the victory to Naya CC in the end.... On a positive note we take time to bid farewell to the champion RM Neupane who is a proud leader and non replaceable enthusiast for the team. Once a Global always a Global.
