24.01.2022 Getting a Certificate of Roadworthiness FANTATIC NEWS IF you needed a roadworthy check (RWC) as of the 4th of October Vicroads have now extended the timeframe between the first and second inspection conducted by an LVT from 7 to 14 days. If an item fails to meet the requirements, the vehicle tester will issue a rejection report. You’ll be given 14 days to repair or replace the rejected item/s and have them re-inspected. FYI- The roadworthy inspection is a check of the vehic...le to make sure that key components are in a good enough condition for safe road use safety. The roadworthiness test isn’t a check of the mechanical reliability or general condition of a vehicle. If you require a comprehensive check on the overall condition and reliability of the vehicle then you should arrange for a separate independent vehicle inspection. 18.01.2022 HAPPY MOTHERS DAY YO EVERYONE OUT THERE! Our mother day was spent cleaning up the shop floor after we got 2 hoists in stalled yesterday/last night! Getting ready for a big week we added an extra hoist (that’s 3 hoists now) in the work shop for them bigger jobs, as going to add an extra bay out the back for a bit more room! We also had a full re wire of the electrical panel to make sure everything is in safe working order’ ... Thanks to everyone for your help! This mumma is going Home for a bath! 17.01.2022 Our speedway commitments - Aerodrome Automotive have always been willing to help out our local tracks. Unfortunately after a personal dispute with some GVAC members and an unsatisfactory result from the committee we have decided to step back from associating with the club. It is unfortunate but from a business perspective we cannot risk our brand any further. ... We of course won’t stop sponsoring other venues or events and alway will stand with the VSSS series and as sponsor. We wish the club the best for what the future may bring, but our member ship/ show man ship- or our National Representation for the Goulburn Valley Club has been put in to dispute, and we don’t want that. We thank our customers, Friends and racing companions for understanding this choice, as hard as it was- it being our closest track we have tried hard to make it work. But unfortunately we can’t. 17.01.2022 Today Aerodrome Automotive done something a bit different. We hosted the Euroa Show and Shine Speedway section - taking along our FG street Stock, the BA sport sedan/ GVAC Open and also had the Skidmore brothers Sprint car and go kart. The cars were a huge hit amongst the crowd, as you can see from some of the photos I got. Sorry I did miss a few! ... But with the added extra, we got to represent the track we love being part of. Thanks to everyone who stoped and had a look. Hope to see you at the next meeting Thanks to Sean and Erin from be seen signs for getting us here today- was a late couple of nights but from the look on the kids face when they see the HULK on the side makes it all worth it. Shane and the boys worked extreamly hard getting 2 cars to this event, it might not have been a race meeting but it was just as important! Next year you should join us! Enjoy the photos!
