23.01.2022 This is why we love to do what we do. No better feeling than seeing a project that has been worked on for 6+ months come to fruition. Before you can land a plan...e, you've got to build an airport. Fantastic effort from all in AMS Electrical and Engineering to make this happen. Lighting up and painting FMG Iron Bridge.

21.01.2022 We are very excited to announce our newest webinar offering! This free 90-minute PANS-Ops webinar will be co-presented by Instrument Procedure Designer Tim Thorn from IDS Australia and AMS' own Luke Bruce-Smith. PANS-OPS is short for 'Procedures for Air Navigation Services - Aircraft Operations'. PAN-OPS describes the way in which aircraft flight procedures are designed in accordance with ICAO standards and recommended practices. Under the Part 139 MOS (MOS139 7.20 and... 12.03 (6)) operators are required (where applicable) to check the PANS-OPS surfaces during each serviceability inspection so it is important for Aerodrome Reporting Officers, Aerodrome Managers, and Accountable Managers to have a fundamental understanding of these procedures and how to go about protecting and reporting on them. Registration is free: https://amsaustralia.online/pansweb-Feb21 or call us on (08) 9221 6777 if you have any questions. See more

07.01.2022 Today marks the start of Airport Safety Week 2020. This year's theme is ‘We are in this together’ with airports taking part in daily events and webinars such as... Wellness during COVID-19, Safety Management Systems and the important Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walk. Airport Safety Week is an opportunity to show the travelling public how we ensure high safety standards right across the airport sector. It’s also a chance to engage with staff and bring people together, which has been particularly difficult in the past few months. 05.01.2022 Chris from our Aerodrome line marking team is determined to paint a parking position that has all possible aircraft designators. He’s nearly there!!

03.01.2022 Today is Day 4 of Airport Safety Week - AUS and NZ. Today's theme is Safety Management Systems. The crew at Paraburdoo attended a presentation by local refueling staff which highlighted apron safety around operational refueling equipment. The presentation was well received and just a short simple discussion about the safety aspects of the aircraft refueling role went a long way toward improving mutual apron safety. #ASW2020
