16.01.2022 As promised here is one of the improvements to the ANT - the radio bracket that also features a power socket (ciggarette lighter) and two USB sockets. The dimensions accommodate most popular VHF and UHF hand helds. Youll also notice a hole for fixing a security strap for added security [See the new colourfully assembly pins in the pic - I told you the factory had been working hard at improving the product]

11.01.2022 Trip Update: This is the first of what will become regular updates, I will refer to this trip as; ANTics Across America from now on. To all those that have contacted me and provided so much input, THANK YOU! Still need permission to fly out of the San Fran area.... On google earth I see many possible spots but will need permission to takeoff from them. Id like to stay as sympathetic to the original track as possible. This would include an overfly of the only original marker left. However it is almost surrounded by houses now so we may have to visit it by road... If anyone knows who to contact to takeoff from the old disused runways at the USS Hornet - Sea, Air and Space Museum that would be fantastic! Another option is the Pier 30 Lot just South of the Oakland Bay Bridge... See more

03.01.2022 With the airfield drying out and the most perfect weather what else would you be doing....

02.01.2022 The USA trip is shaping up to be quite a trip. We now have 6 confirmed AnTs doing the crossing. The route I have in the plan right now shows as almost 5000KM. For the most part we will be following the US I80 across with a few diversions to overfly arrows and beacons that still exist. We have two confirmed supporters/sponsors and we also have one STOL chase plane that will accompany us along with the ground support. So far we will be stopping in at the Reno Air Race and Spe...ed Week as attractions along the way. Im now calling on any people who know ultralight pilots along the way and who hove any local knowledge and would like to get involved.
