20.01.2022 Merry Christmas from our Aesir family to all our fellow Rovers, families, and friends

18.01.2022 Tonight Aesir Rovers had a Blindfolded Banana Muffin cooking night. It was so much fun and a lot more successful than you might think! In pairs one person was blindfolded and guided to bake muffins by their partner. You too can make these muffins! Ingredients (12 muffins): 12x Patty pans... 300g (2 cups) self-raising flour 100g caster sugar 100g Choc Honeycomb roughly chopped 90g Butter Melted 2 eggs, lightly whisked 80g buttermilk 90g honey 2 small bananas mashed Method: Preheat oven to 200C. Combine sugar and flour in mixing bowl. Roughly chop honeycomb and add to bowl Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients Add melted butter, buttermilk, honey, banana and egg. Stir until just combined (don't overdo it) Bake for 20min or till golden and skewer comes out clean.

15.01.2022 Since our last update Aesir has been busy! We had to move back online for a couple weeks due to lockdown. Aesir and Flash Rovers joined together for mass sesh of Among Us. We also had an online movie night. Last week Aesir and Howlers did some strawberry picking at Beerenberg farm, and enjoyed some delicious icecream.... Tonight we are skating up a storm at the ice arena, certainly one of the coolest activities around Stay tuned to hear about the awesome activities we have coming up!

10.01.2022 This afternoon Aesir and friends went to the beach... and then it got too windy, so we went to some lovely grass instead We also programmed for our next few months - keep an eye out for exciting new events coming your way soon!

10.01.2022 It looks like we are in for a tough couple of weeks with COVID kicking up a stink again. Scouts SA advises that in line with COVID Directions and to play our part as responsible South Australian citizens, that all face to face Scouting activities are required to cease as of 11.59pm tonight, Monday 16th November. Current indications from SA Government are that if all South Australians act now that these restrictions will hopefully only last 2 weeks.... We will be moving upcoming activities to an online format with Microsoft Teams. Many/most Rovers should have received info about a scouts email using your membership number (eg [email protected]) which you can log into for email and use for Microsoft Teams. You can also join meetings/activities as a guest. If MS Teams confuses you, we can provide some help/instructions.

09.01.2022 Last week Aesir developed some new skills and learnt some woodcarving! This week we went on an op shop crawl to donate some unneeded clothes, snag a bargain and bond as a unit. Congrats to Adam for winning the scavenger hunt!

08.01.2022 Last weekend Aesir had a scavenger hunt in IKEA, which had us posing with all sorts of furniture and products. We followed it up with a programming session and, of course, meatballs for lunch!

07.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Time to get back into the swing of things with our first event of 2021, Beach Day/Evening + Programming The plan is to meet at the Glenelg Beach at 3pm for some swimming, beach games and a sandcastle competition. Later we'll have some dinner down at the beach before heading to the den @ 7pm for programming. Come and join us for some fun at the beach but if sand is not your thing please come to the den for programming so that we can make sure everyone has a say ...in what we do for the next few months See you all Sunday and hope you have a good NYE! 04.01.2022 Last weekend, a team of Aesir members attended NONTeen20s, run by Ace Rovers. We spent the night in our 20s costumes, getting into theme with some sparkling apple juice, driving around in search of checkpoints, and completing activity checkpoints along the way (+ a little dancing for extra points). Thank you Ace for a fantastic NONT, we had a ball!

04.01.2022 This weekend Aesir and friends went camping at a Crew Member’s property up at Sedan. We enjoyed campfire cooking, visiting a local farmers’ market, checking out Manum falls, and fun and relaxation around camp. #roversdostuff

03.01.2022 Beach afternoon + programming is this Sunday! Beach afternoon start time is 3pm at Glenelg, and Programming starts at 7pm at the Den (be there or be square!) Anyone is welcome to join us at the beach. Programming is Aesir only.

02.01.2022 Yesterday Aesir (and friends) went on a hike through Cleland Conservation Park. We had a great time and got some excellent views of the sunset and the cityscape at night
