03.01.2022 ATO AUDIT The Australian Taxation Office suspected a plumbing contractor wasn't paying proper wages to his staff and sent an agent to investigate him. ATO AUDITOR: "I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them. ... Contractor: "Well, there's Clarence, he's been with me for 3 years. I pay him $1,000 a week plus free room and board. Then there's the mentally challenged guy. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of rum and a dozen XXXX Gold every Saturday night so he can cope with life. 03.01.2022 Great to receive a before and after photo of the difference the AES has made to a property. A replacement of a traditional septic that had reached the end of its serviceable life and rectification to site drainage has made a huge difference to the property located in Lucaston TAS. Limited space available meant having to think out of the box. Designed by Onsite Assessments Tas and installed by Ben Harris Plumbing. Well done gents ;-)
