24.01.2022 Our Family hanging out !!

22.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who came out to the Movie Night tonight, we had a fantastic time! Huge thanks to Christiano for bringing the treasure planet movie and Mel for bringing along her computer once ours failed! Thanks also to everyone who helped clean up, it was greatly appreciated! ... Have a great weekend all!

21.01.2022 As people around the world spend time off this Good Friday, many ask a question; ‘Why Good Friday?’ ‘What is the reason for this season?’ Good Friday is a day of remembrance. A day of grief, and a day of celebration. It is a day where we stop and think about a sacrifice of someone special; someone named Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself for us on Good Friday. In the Bible, we are told that ‘God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes ...in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life’ (John 3:16). My question to you all though, is Why? Why did God give His only begotten Son? Why did Jesus, during the Passover, wash the feet of His disciples, a task not for a King, but for a servant? (John 3:1-17) Why did Jesus break bread with His disciples during the Last Supper, knowing that He was going to be betrayed by one of them (John 3:11) and that they would every single one of them soon abandon Him (Matthew 26:31)? Why would Jesus heal the servant of the priests who came to arrest Him, when His disciple cut off the servants ear (Luke 22:51)? How could Jesus stay silent, as the High Priest of the Jews and the governor of the Roman Empire accused Him of blasphemy, amongst numerous other offences of which He was innocent (Matthew 27:11-14)? Why did Jesus not condemn those who nailed Him to a cross (John 19:16-25), pierced his flesh with a crown of thorns (John 19:2), fed Him vinegar mixed with wine (John 19:29), but instead prayed Father, forgive them. They know not what they do (Luke 23:34)? This Saviour King, the Messiah, the King of the Jews went willingly into all this, even unto death itself (John 19:30b)! But why? For you. He did all of this, for you. He did this because of His love. His love pursues us, even when we fail Him, even when we give up on Him, even when we CRUCIFIED HIM! Still He loves us. He loves you. He gave up His very life, on Good Friday, for you. But this is not the end of His story

19.01.2022 Had an awesome time at the bonfire tonight! Check out this fire Thanks to Russel for having us!

18.01.2022 Imagine a fire as the people that are on fire for God. Imagine the coals that are close too, but not on the fire that will slowly get cold and lose their flame. Those coals are the Christians that start to slowly fade, they can't burn bright if they aren't surrounded by the flames of those that burn for God. The wood is the people that don't know Jesus, if we don't add wood to the fire the fire will go out. We as Christians need to go out and grab the wood and place it on t...he fire, as we do that the wood will catch alight and start to burn bright for God. - Jessica Balacco, 2019. It is easy for us as Christians to sometimes feel like our fire and our drive for God has been snuffed out, or is weakening. Seeking out those who are on fire for God is one of the best ways that the Holy Spirit can take hold of us and set us alight once again. Once alight, we burn bright and we can be a beacon to the lost and help draw them towards our Father. If youre feeling weak or like youve lost your drive, find and get around those who have a drive and youll find that the Holy Spirit will be tugging at your heart, Flint and steel in hand ready and waiting.

06.01.2022 We come now to the second part of His story, Easter Sunday. On the third day after He was crucified and buried in a tomb, sealed by a heavy boulder, one of the... women who knew Him had gone to the tomb that morning. The soldiers around the tomb were unconscious and the stone was rolled away, and on top of the stone sat an angel, clothes white as snow with an appearance like lightning. And the angel said to the woman, Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you. (Matthew 28:5-7) Jesus then appeared in the flesh to her and His disciples. (Matthew 28:9) This man, whos love pursues us to the bitter end, this man who gave His life for YOU overcame death. He took YOUR sins, He took YOUR failures, He took YOUR unworthiness into Himself and paid YOUR DEBT so that YOU might live! He overcame the grave, overcame the Devil, overcame the weight of the world's sin on His shoulders, surely this was no ordinary Man! In fact this Man, Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of the living God. And this Man, He is not dead, HE LIVES! And He is calling out to each and every one of you, as we celebrate with joy and thanksgiving, Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30). This is the reason for the season, the reason for Easter; a celebration that our God overcame the grave and has given us a way to Him, a way into eternal life; through Christ Jesus! Amen

03.01.2022 Because we were part of Gods procedure, we must have meaning. - Aiden Johnson, 2018 As we begin our exploration into the heart of the gospel story, we are reminded in the first pages of the Bible that God has a plan, not only does He have a plan but he has a procedure for accomplishing that plan. Not only that, but we in fact are a part of that procedure! We are part of Gods plan, and we have meaning far beyond what we could possibly comprehend! Through the trials, through the storms, He is Lord, Lord of all and He loves us, never forget that!
