11.01.2022 Australia Day Weekend Fire Warning There are numerous bushfires currently burning throughout the High Country and the situation is likely to get worse as the we...ek heats up. Four Wheel Drive Victoria recommends that people heading bush for the long weekend should check for fire activity and if required reassess their plans. There are some areas closed such as in the Eastern alps section of the Alpine National Park, the following sections will be closed until further notice: Tingaringy 4wd track up to the summit of Mount Tingaringy, Laurie track, Rosendale track, Armstrong track and other tracks that access this section of the Alpine National Park. There are currently fires in the following areas, Bruthen, Buchan, Dargo, Tubbut, Talbotville and Mount Buller. For further information refer to http://www.emergency.vic.gov.au/ See more
