19.01.2022 While at a meeting with a group of successful people running their own businesses, I asked the question "What stops you from seeking advice or working with a financial planner?" I was deeply upset by the response...... "Because we are too afraid or embarrassed to reveal our current financial position" No person should have to feel bad about what they have done with their money, it was simply a choice they made (and probably had a lot of fun in the process). I have recently met several very successful women who have established businesses from home while raising their young children or simply wanting the flexibility that will support their lifestyle. What is even more amazing is that several of them come from strong corporate backgrounds while others have had no previous business experience. They all seem to be having a fabulous time while building their income and financial independence. All of them are so willing to share their ideas and support others who want to go down a similar path. Please let me know if you would like to meet or chat with any of them. How will the effect you?What will you do with the savings, reduce your monthly payments to help with cashflow or leave them as is and pay out your mortgage earlier. 10.01.2022 Is "Pay Day Frivolity" an issue for you? Whilst meeting with a new client and discussing her current cashflow crisis - spending everything she earnt and more, she had a regular expense that I had never heard of before. She called it pay day frivolity. When her considerable pay arrived in her account each fortnight she would go online and immediately buy something for at least several hundred dollars. After working with her for several hours looking at how she was using her money, I discovered that with some minor alterations (which she was very happy to do) to her spending habits she could save about $2,500 per month. She was absolutely amazed and thrilled because she keen to set up her own business and needed some savings. Her dream was now possible. What's holding you back from achieving your dreams?

07.01.2022 Ladies, I just had the most extraordinary experience. Someone who knows me well and sees me frequently said, Carol, you look like you've lost several kilos. After the excitement subsided I confessed that I hadn't but what I had done was worked with the most amazing personal stylist Colette Werden. Who would have thought "losing weight" could be so easy and so much fun. And this is all before we've been shopping for new pieces. Love your work Colette x

06.01.2022 Carol - I love when our clients have big breakthroughs. We met with a client today and towards the end of our meeting he says "I get it, I need to change my thinking from scarcity to investment! (which for others could be abundance) Given his amazing success so far, I can't wait to see what happens from here. He can now make decisions from choice not from lack. This is what inspires me to do what I do.

02.01.2022 Carol - I was upset to hear on the radio that so many callers were extremely stressed by their partners spending habits and the significant impact this was having on their relationship. Wish I could have spoken with them personally as I have had such amazing results assisting clients in similar situations....no more resentment!

01.01.2022 Spending less and enjoying it more! I had the most amazing experience yesterday when I went clothes shopping with my personal stylist Colette Werden. Shopping for clothes is normally tiresome and difficult but yesterday was sooo easy and guess what, I SPENT LESS. Colette made the experience fun, easy and she gave me the knowledge to be able to do it on my own next time. How did I save money..... I only bought pieces that I needed and they all looked fabulous on me and went with other clothes I already had. Just a few pieces, but they will combine to make many more outfits. Thanks for all your help, you really made a difference.

01.01.2022 Ending the year on a high! In July I met with a new client who was sick of working long hours in a stressful environment (but well paid) and desperately wanted to follow her passion and establish a micro brewery. At that time she was hoping to be able to begin her business in 18 months time but she could see no way off accumulating the funds required to start. After two meetings and 5 months since we first met, she sent me an email today confirming that she started the business three months ago and in January she will finish her paid employment to spend full time on her business. What an amazing achievement, I am so proud of her. With a clear vision, support and passion, anything is possible. What have you got planned for 2013?
