22.01.2022 Great Part of Australian History to be told & remembered: 160 years ago, the first three Afghan Cameleers, Dost Mohammad, Hassan Khan, and Ali Baloch Khan, landed in Melbourne, Victoria on 19th June 1860. Tomes Elder brought the cameleers for the further exploration of Australia’s outback. The second fleet of camels landed in South Australian on New Year’s Eve in 1865, where people crowded to witness the most extraordinary landing of Camels at Beltane Station 500 km north of ...Adelaide.
