Tomes Elder brought the cameleers for the further exploration of Australia’s outback. The second fleet of camels landed in South Australian on New Year’s Eve in 1865, where people crowded to witness the most extraordinary landing of Camels at Beltane Station 500 km north of ...Adelaide.
