25.01.2022 AFL Live 2 coming out on PS3 and Xbox 360 this year!

25.01.2022 AFL 2 has now shipped to all stores, it won't be long before it is on the shelves. While everyone is waiting anxiously for September 12, please fire up a few questions for Sebastian Giompaolo (MD of Tru Blu Entertainment). Time permitting , I will try and get you an answer for the most relevant.

22.01.2022 Hello everyone! Glad to see people having great fun with the game. We have had a couple of comments about 'lag' with the game? We understand the game runs slower on the iPhone4 and iPad2, however some of these reports are saying that the game lags on the iPad Air and other higher devices? Here at the Wicked Witch Studio, all of our iPad Airs run beautifully, even when online playing against a slow device. So if you are having this problem, we want to hear from you! 22.01.2022 Here are some gameplay tips for you: It’s well worth doing custom training in career mode to suit your playing style and turn key positions into specialists. Etihad stadium is the only stadium in the game that is never subject to wind. Winning a mark contest is %50 position and %50 timing. Try to get in front, and hit your mark button just as the ring turns green. If you find the opposition players keep running into an open goal, change to a more defensive set of ta...ctics. When performing a Set Shot Kick from an angle, use kick curve to your advantage by facing to the left of the goals and curving right, or vice versa. When you're under heavy pressure, use the Goal Kick/Clearance Kick button as a quick option to boot the ball down the field. Try not to use up all your stamina on sprinting, because if you use all your energy you won’t be able to do an Evade when tackled. Handballing is a good way to keep the ball clear of your opponent. A highly skilled player can sometimes get the ball the ball to where it needs to be, even if you’ve overpowered the kick. You don’t need a lot of curve when doing a set shot kick, it’s very powerful. Sometimes an over-the-shoulder snap kick in the goal area can be your best option when under pressure. Holding the Goal Kick/Clearance Kick button down as you run onto a loose ball will perform a soccer kick, this can be great if the ball is spilt near the goals. If you try and run the clock down by deliberately giving away points, the opposition will be given a free kick right in front of your goals.

09.01.2022 Wow! A lot of questions! I won’t be able to answer all questions, I will just focus on questions which will give an informative view to our 18600 plus fans before they go out and buy AFL Live 2. As a consumer what you really want to know is what do you get for $69.95? The following information will hopefully give an answer to the majority.... Approximately 12 months ago we set out to produce AFL Live 2 for Xbox360 and PS3, the objective was to: Create a fun game with great game play -we feel we have achieved this, we have a game which has a totally different game play to AFL Live but extremely fun to play. Create a stable game so we have a solid foundation for future development very solid, very stable, I will be very surprised if this game will crash anytime soon. Ensure the online experience is fun - again achieved and with stability our priority. Career mode a must. It was the biggest request after AFL Live’s release and we feel we have totally achieved this. AFL Live 2 has the best career mode of any of our previous games. Have greater control on the development process and pave the way for a small in- house Tru Blu development team this project has been a joint venture between Tru Blu and Wicked Witch, we feel we have achieved this task. Unfortunately 12 months isn’t a long time in game development, so in an effort to please our anxious fans we didn’t have time to include fancy cut scenes, or glamorous graphics, these probably needed another 6 months work. Most people switch these off after a few games but for the truly devoted, we are continuing to work on these features and we intend (pending AFL approval) to release a glamour DLC pack mid-next year which would also include the new 2014 update. No, it is not free :) (what is?), but you are saving a fair bit on this game and I can’t imagine the DLC price exceeding your saving. Hopefully the above will answer most of the questions; I will now answer some of the individual questions which will further expand on the above. Feel free to comment, we do take consumer input seriously, and enjoy AFL Live 2.

09.01.2022 The AFL Live 2 Patch Update for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 are scheduled for release, today the 30th of June. The DLC for Xbox360 is also due to be released today the 30th of June and the DLC for PS3 is due to release on the 9th of July. Please note the release activation is carried out by Sony and Microsoft and both these companies operate from various time zones so a few hours delay can be experienced depending on where the location of the company . However before then, the Gunditjmara people used to play a similar game called Marngrook where you kicked a possum or kangaroo skin around and had to mark it.

04.01.2022 Hello everyone, We've noticed a few Android players are having trouble downloading and installing the game due to Error 905. This is a commonly encountered error on Google Play when downloading larger games. We found the following steps resolve the issue. 1. Go to the "Settings" menu on your device... 2. Go to "Applications" 3. Select "Application Manager" or "Manage Applications" 4. Select "Google Play Store". If you do not see it, check the "All" tab. 5. Select "Uninstall Updates". This will restore the Google Play Store application to an earlier version. 6. Restart your Android device. Once your device has restarted, open the Google Play Store application again. It should automatically download and install updates for newer versions of the Google Play Store. After this process has finished, try installing the game again.
