12.01.2022 FOOTY WITH A DIFFERENCE Wheelchair Sports NSW have organised two Come N Try events at Shellharbour City Stadium (Croom Rd) for Saturday October 17 and Saturday October 31 both from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Wheelchair Sports NSW will have 2 courts available for the 2 hours. For new comers they generally do about 10 to 15 minutes of getting familiar with the sports wheelchair, followed by 20 to 30 minutes of basic sport skills which leaves between 1 and an 1.5 hours for game play. ... Wheelchair AFL is 5-a-side (full forward, half forward, ruck, half back, full back) and the court is zoned like netball. Please note, this is open to all, and participants do not need to be in a wheelchair to have a go!
