25.01.2022 Take a quick peek at our awesome u18g's playing last weekend! https://stivesafl.teamapp.com/photos/1408020?_detail=v1

24.01.2022 Really proud of all three age groups getting to finals stages, both u12g’s and u14g’s got their wins and whilst u16g’s lost, they get another chance for Grand Finals this coming weekend! @st.ives_afl @aflstives.girlsfooty @renee_forth @swannny_17 @afl.womens most of the girls playing are in their first year of footy, now that is impressive!

20.01.2022 We did it, u12g, u14g, u16g and u18g all into grand finals. U12 and U18 managed to win the clubs first premiership flags for both age groups. Some if the girls in the u18 side were our inaugural playwrs back in 2017, they also went to a gf, u15g but were defeated then. But now, they can proudly hold thier heads high, along with all girls at st ives for being such awesome ambassadors, players and young women. Go you good things!!

18.01.2022 Its Grand Final time for three out of four @st ives afc - girls footy teams! Congratulations Girls, what a huge effort over the weekend!!

17.01.2022 With the normal home and away season completed we are so very proud of our four age groups. U12g’s took it to the last game to secure a finals berth- very tough footy ahead! U14g’s secured top spot as minor premieres and finals bound U16g’s also set themselves up for finals footy and last but not least our... U18g’s joint venture team with Forest had a tricky start but managed to pull together some great footy over the season. Whilst we celebrate the successes of the girls, it isn’t _all_ about winning and finals. Its about giving as many girls as possible the opportunity to play in non traditional sports and to get into the fray of a really entertaining and exciting sport. Its a cliche, but the winners are all of the Girls giving this sport a go, and coming out of their experience with beaming smiles, new stories to tell and above all, new friendships. Come and play next year, u10g’s up to u18g’s... give it a go!!! :)

14.01.2022 Well, for the U12g's it wasn't to be, beaten by Forest, but all our girls got a go at a GF, not bad considering at least half the squad were in their first year! For the U14g's it was a different story! Premiers! and The first ever St Ives AFC Girls team to snag a flag! U16g's fought hard but in the end succumbed to Maroubra's depth and lost by 11. Lastly, our u17b's went down in a heartbreaking single point loss, in the last 10 seconds.... We are so proud of all of our Girls... and Boys this year, some made finals, other din't but the whole St Ives crew worked hard and had fun! Come back next year and bring a friend! See more
