22.01.2022 How very ironic this popped up in memories! 3yrs ago Catur Rasta Gong offered his first class after 8mths of recovering from a Cancer diagnosis, massive surgery & 6mths chemotherapy.. And tonight he is giving his first class again since his Cancer recurrence 18mths ago that required further surgery & aggressive chemo.. Total synchronicity! ... Last years was insane with over 600 people through the doors of a 9hr event with 40 performers, raising over 10k on the night! This will be our last hurrah with the community of Wollongong, before we take the road to zion, living every last moment together.. 13.01.2022 We are greatly saddened to learn our fellow drummer, Angie Lay is coming to the point of bidding us all goodbye after a sudden, aggressive Cancer diagnosis.. Angie, your zest for life is what we will remember you for.. You always had the most incredible smile, infectious heart, huge energy & the funniest things to say.. Thank you for being a part of our drumming family, united in rhythm.. Thank you for your friendship during our own cancer battle..... Thank you for inspiring me with your incredible attitude towards life & death.. We wish you a comfortable pass over, onto the next bigger thing! Xxx See more

03.01.2022 #LoveWorkshop - A day of Drum Making! Catur had 3 keen peeps come & learn drum making today.. They drew their designs, got a feel for their hand tools & carve...d for 5.5hrs straight! They did awesome! Monday it starts all over again if anyone else wants to join & make their own drum Im so proud of him! He was in his happy place today.. He is crash & burn phase now but I know he is satisfied.. He didnt even know its 4yrs today since his diagnosis! Another step closer to getting on the road #LoveWins
