17.01.2022 I just love shaping these baskets. I could do it all day. Each basket is so beautiful and takes a weaver days to finish. I like to think about the person who made them and that I'm moving my hands over the same fibres that they selected from market and wove on their lap with children running around and laughing. By purchasing you are helping a project that was established in a subsistence farming area with high unemployment. Over 400 people have become skilled in basketwork, beading and sewing.
