22.01.2022 Have you been impacted by inter-generational learning during your AFS experience?

20.01.2022 Anyone free this Saturday to spend a few hours with Valeria from Paraguay? She arrives in Sydney at 9:10am and then has a flight to Grafton to meet her host family at 5:45pm. We need someone to hangout with her between flights. You can do whatever you like - no need to stay in the airport (Opera House anyone?!). Lunch is on us! Help us make her first day in Aus memorable. You can learn some Spanish too! Gracias amigos!

10.01.2022 Hola AFS Australia Returnees! We're putting an urgent call-out to anyone who lives in the Glebe area of Sydney and is willing to act as a Welcome Family for a German female student arriving on 15 July. Her host family had to withdraw today and we're hoping to find a Welcome Family for 2 weeks so that she's still able to travel to Australia (to give us time to work on a more permanent option for her). Please feel free to share with your networks; to tag a friend; to comment below; or to message us if you can assist. Thank you! AFS Australia

06.01.2022 We are looking for hosts in Victoria, NSW and Queensland for our new students coming this February! If you are interested, contact [email protected] or share this post and spread the word :)

06.01.2022 Happy Friday Returnees! Here in the AFS office in Sydney we've had this idea to tell YOUR stories because: a. you have great stories... b. you have unique experiences c. we want to celebrate you! We are looking for stories of your exchange, your hosting, your volunteering, what it was like being a parent of a student away on exchange or any other AFS related story that we can share on FB, Instagram, our website and on our flyers. If you are happy to share, send us your story (even just a few sentences will do!) and a high res picture! Send to [email protected], via messenger or even in the comments below. We are thinking that we'll post them as #AFSmoments - so little snippets would be great. "That time when..." type of thing! Feel free to share this around - we want stories from everyone!

06.01.2022 Which family members made your exchange awesome?

03.01.2022 If you wish to thank the volunteers who helped you throughout your AFS experience, don't forget that #GivingTuesday is tomorrow. If you wish to participate, send your photos to say thank you to [email protected] ! They will be posted on our AFS Intercultural Programs Australia page tomorrow!

02.01.2022 Dear AFS Returnees - for newly returned students joining this page, what's one piece of advice you would give them on returning to Australia?
