With roughly five months left of my exchange, I can honestly say that it is possibly the best decision I have ever made. I have learnt so much about different cultures, languages, people in general and myself. The friends and experiences I have made here will stay with me forever. 02.01.2022 "When I first came to stay with my new host family, my host father asked me if I wanted to partake in a traditional Japanese dance and I said I'd love to. I did...n't even know Noh existed before coming. I only knew about traditional performances from movies like Kabuki but that's all. Noh is a very particular dance style and is very difficult to master. I didn't have many training session with my teacher (only 3) so I had to learn most of it off a video that my host father took for me. The timing was the most difficult thing for me to understand.
