23.01.2022 Some of you past students may have been sent out a short questionnaire about your time at Afterlee School. If you didn't and you'd like to have your answers be a part of the centenary event, all the questions are listed below. Simply copy them to an email, answer them and send it to [email protected] Cheers. AFTERLEE PUBLIC SCHOOL CENTENARY - PAST STUDENT QUESTIONNAIRE What was your name when you went to Afterlee and if it's changed what is it now?... How long did you attend Afterlee School for? Who was your teacher/s? Were there any other staff or teachers (music teacher, office staff, volunteers)? How many students were enrolled? Can you remember who else attended school with you? Did you attend Small Schools Sports Days? Any other special activities that you remember? Did you go on excursions or other outings? What games or activities did you play with your school mates? What teaching/classroom equipment did you have? ie blackboard/whiteboards, books computers Were there any significant events that happened at the school or the community while you were at the school? What happened when you didn't follow the school rules? Do you have a memory/story you would like to share/?

21.01.2022 Hi all! Here's a Rough Guide (subject to change) of what time stuff will be happening at the 2019 Afterlee Public School Centenary on Sunday, October 6, 2019. 10am Start. Displays of old historic photos of the school and past students. Memorabilia, student artworks, postcards, local recipe cookbooks and morning tea.... 11am Speeches, cake cutting, plaques, School re-enactments (dress up in historical garb). Student performances. 11:30am Roll Call! 12pm Book launch, signing and readings. Tree planting. 1pm Lunch sales. 2pm Fun Games. 3pm Afternoon tea and microphone walkabout. 6pm B.B.Q and music by school music teacher Greg. 05.01.2022 Hi everyone, Already had 2 requests for photos from a specific time which luckily I was able to provide for one but not the other. I still have some more Toonumbar Times photos to sort through but here is a call out to any one who has photos from the 70s to early 80s. I'm not sure if the page lets anyone post photos and tag people but if not and anyone wants to add stuff just send me a message and I'll make you an Admin on the page which will solve the problem. ...
