24.01.2022 Australia’s newest fire bombing SEAT arrived home today having completed the Pacific crossing from the US to Australia. The trip was a bit longer this year due to COVID restrictions however the support we received from the South Pacific inslanders we worked with along the way was greatly appreciated. They also do really good videos! Link of her landing in Tahiti.... https://youtu.be/DgVBgiNduEM

24.01.2022 As Victoria’s largest provider of fixed wing firefighting aircraft, AGAIR is looking forward to working with our State agencies to keep communities safe this summer fire season.

23.01.2022 From our CEO Rob Boschen This morning, with a touch of sadness, we bid farewell at Richmond RAAF Base to our last DC10 B914 and flight crew that helped us during one of Australias most horrific fire seasons. As we move in to autumn and our fire danger is diminishing, we have found ourselves dealing with a new global emergency that knows no boundaries and has serious consequences for all society. ... Our priority is always the welfare of our personnel and the need for them to be home with their families and loved ones as this crisis takes hold, motivated us to release them early. We trust that by tomorrow all our crews will be in their home countries. As this world pandemic passes over in coming months, we do look forward to being able to move freely across international borders again and be ready to support our fire agencies in the summers ahead.

22.01.2022 We've seen it in our skies and heard it overhead, let's take a look inside the DC-10 tanker. It's been instrumental in controlling the devasting bushfires that ...ravaged portions of the ACT and NSW this summer. It can carry up to 45,000 litres of water or fire retardant that can make a huge impact to assist on-ground units. The DC-10 and its crew will always be remembered by the Canberra community.
