But to do this a Business should know what they are. So here are a couple of important things you need to know: What are your requirements under the OHS Act?... Under the Victorian OHS Act employers and Employees have legal responsibilities under this Act of Parliament here are a basic list of these responsibilities. Who’s an employer? If you have one or more employees, you are an employer. An employer can be a: Person Company Partnership, unincorporated association, franchising operation, or not-for-profi t organisation Who’s an employee? You are an employee if you have a contract of employment or contract of training. Volunteers are not employees. Independent contractors may be employees. See more
