22.01.2022 If you're struggling for ideas on exercise during isolation give these a go! Stay fit, stay connected :)

19.01.2022 This little fellow found himself out the front of the clinic today and didn’t want to leave. Seems like he’s got out of his yard and has been having an adventure! If anyone knows where he lives please get in contact as I m sure his family miss him very much. Also we don’t do doggie physio at the moment so all we can offer is some pats and a safe space until home is found!

18.01.2022 No reformer, no worries! Scooters using a band are just as good working glutes, quads, strings and core. Add these to the end of your Wednesday workout for some extra burn!... Stay fit, stay well

18.01.2022 No weights no worries - grab a dog Challenge 5 - front squats To be fair I didn't max out, my partner gave up. ... Stay fit, stay well How many can you do?

16.01.2022 Challenge day 2 - Max single leg calf raises Rules: - Max height (like a ballerina) - Slow and controlled - All the way down, all the way up... Guess which side I get my injuries on??? Can Joshua Byrne beat Michael Bennett again in the calf raise off of the century? Test yourself and post your max score. Beat your family. Beat your friends. Stay connected and stay fit! Sam Mason you’re up tomorrow...... #coronaisolationchallenge

12.01.2022 It’s always a great experience being able to sit in and observe surgery. It gives great insight into what is required in rehabilitation to get patients back to 100% #learning #physiotherapy #surgery #kneescope #hipscope

Beat me, beat your friends, stay connected and stay fit. Also a good screening test for injury risk. Guess which side my injuries are on? 08.01.2022 In these difficult times we are now offering telehealth consultations https://www.agamephysiotherapy.com.au/telehealth Anyone who doesn't want to/can't leave home can still get a great physiotherapy service using a laptop or smartphone It seems like a bit of a different concept as many view physiotherapy as being very hands on, but... we can still diagnose, treat and give advice for you to manage pretty much all musculoskeletal issues without using our hands!... We are also still open for existing and new appointments in the clinic, as these are still cleared under the directive of an "essential service". Stay safe

07.01.2022 We are closing for face to face appointments! It's with excitement and some sadness I will be closing A-Game Physiotherapy for face to face consultations in Somerville. Due to circumstances with Covid and some amazing opportunities elsewhere I will be moving to Mackay for the foreseeable future, seeing more of the world and having an adventure at the same time. I would like to thank all our patients for their patronage over the past 2 years, being able to meet some wonderful... people and serve the local community. I will still be consulting for the next 2 weeks, maybe a bit longer, under the same covid precautions. For those who need ongoing care please give me a call and I can recommend someone locally to take on your care. I am also more than happy to write out progress letters and reports to summarise my findings and your care pathway that will help future clinicians continue with your care. Alternatively I will still be available for telehealth appointments if required ongoing. If you would like a letter or an appointment before I head off please let me know. It has been a pleasure working with you and wishing you all good health! Kind regards, Andy

06.01.2022 DEADLIFTS ARE HARD! Especially when you re still learning. . . One of the keys to doing deadlifts well to IMPROVE back pain rather than cause back pain is maintaining a neutral spine. .... . The mistake in the above photo is the other key point, SHOULDERS BACK, CHEST OUT. . . Still a bit of work to do on this one! . . . #physiotherapy #agame #deadlifts #gym #techniquetuesday #backpainrelief #injuryprevention #anytimefitnesssomerville See more

06.01.2022 No challenge today, this guy's taking the lead. Language warning

06.01.2022 Foot Pain . . There are multiple causes of foot pain and getting orthotics isn’t always a good fix! A lot of the time strengthening the tissue and muscles that support your foot day in day out is more effective and longer lasting................Or you could go to Thailand and get fish to eat the foot off .... . . #thailand #foot #footpain #plantarfasciitis #physiotherapy #injuryrecovery #rehab #strength #agamephysiotherapy See more

04.01.2022 Challenge 7 - Hand Stand Pushups Definitely not for everyone, but a good challenge for those willing to give it a go! Stay connected, stay fit!

03.01.2022 Hi all, In conjunction with Monash University we are doing a survey to try and understand perceptions and behaviours when accessing physiotherapy and health information. If you're happy to help us out, please fill in this short survey, it'll only take less than 5 minutes! Please also share this post/link with friends and family, we would really love to get as many responses as possible!... https://monash.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7ampTsC8d0yuQnj There's also a chance of winning one of two 30 / $50 Amazon gift vouchers up for grabs for those who participate, for some extra incentive.
