It doesnt have to stop - lets use our time to come up with new ways of working while we stay at home! For Jeanette it is time to enjoy working in the new office Ag Consulting has been using on-line technologies for many years, in fact we trialed using the school of the air system to connect remote women before on-line platforms where available. 19.01.2022 Today we had our second Weathering the Drought workshop in Morchard. We are thankful for funding by PHN and WOTL for making this series possible. Jeanette Lon...g and Judy Wilkinson once again delivered an interactive and valuable session; feedback from attendees was that the content and timing was spot on, and everyone took away some tools and tips to use in their businesses and for themselves moving forward. These workshops will dovetail nicely in to the business planning ones we have planned for July and August - stay tuned!

11.01.2022 The Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) is undertaking a strategic review of the Women Influencing Agribusiness and Regions Program (WIAR), as ...part of the development of a broader Diversity in Agribusiness strategy. An independent panel has been established to oversee this review and is seeking your valuable feedback to help identify program strengths and areas for improvement. The WIAR Program has supported WoTL through the Thriving Women Conference in 2018 and 2020 and the Stepping Into Leadership Program. PIRSA has engaged independent Adelaide research agency, Square Holes to conduct a survey to collate this feedback. The survey is composed of up to 30 questions and is estimated to take approximately 10-15 minutes. The survey closes on Monday 28th September at 9.00 am. 06.01.2022 Position Vacant - Farm Machinery Operator Cooinda Farming, a progressive broad acre cropping business based at Butler and Tooligie Hill on Eyre Peninsula, is seeking an experienced machinery operator to join their team. A large component of the role will include operations and maintenance of machinery including: spraying harvesting, seeding, spreading and freight.
