We’re inviting applications for folio reviews to help young designers tailor their job applications and receive constructive feedback from a range of local multi-talented creatives. Some of the most well-known and successful local creative directors, founders and highly experienced designers will be checking ou...t your portfolio. 16.01.2022 Dominic Hofstede to present at DESIGN Canberra Keynote talk DESIGN Canberra’s new Design Revisited series is a unique opportunity to celebrate design history, design education and design excellence in a city of design.... This Design Revisited event, held at the iconic Shine Dome, celebrates the rich history of Australian graphic design from 1960 to 1990 as told through the Re:collection online archive created by Dominic Hofstede. In this DESIGN Canberra keynote talk, Dominic will explore the evolution of Australian graphic design, and the importance of appreciating our rich history. Dominic is a strong believer that archives (including biographies, articles and collections) deserve a dedicated platform to inform and enrich other designers, both locally and globally. Dominic Hofstede is a partner and Creative Director at Mucho, an international design collective. Based in Melbourne, he leads Mucho in Australia, overseeing identity design programs for a diverse range of clients. Our next guest is the fearless creative leader, product design manager, professor and writer Sabrina Hall. @sabrinahallnyc Currently living in NYC and working as a Product Design Manager at Justworks.... With a career spanning over fourteen years, she has worked for companies of all sizes. Sabrina is a Board Member for the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP) and previously served as co-chair of AIGA NY’s Mentoring program. Sabrina is also an Adjunct Professor at CUNY where she teaches design. Sabrina is passionate about accessibility in design, creating opportunities for emerging designers and advocating for equity within the design field.
