09.01.2022 Important Notice Concerning COVID-19 Due to the unprecedented impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are mindful of the need to be vigilant in protecting others, especially the elderly. There may be changes to some of our intergenerational playgroups to protect those more at risk. If you are currently attending a playgroup, please postpone your visit if you or your child is feeling unwell. Please touch base with your group’s facilitator to determine if the groups are continuing to meet and to ensure you are included in all future communications.

03.01.2022 "Unexpected friendships are the best ones" Our Ageless Play QLD "Art in the Mail" project has proved just that, with a special penpal relationship forming between our Grandfriends from Palm Lodge Playgroup at Ozcare NewFarm QLD and class full of cheerful year one student at Newmarket State School QLD. Artwork, letters, and handmade gifts have been exchanged back and forth through the lockdown and beyond. Good old fashion penmanship for the win!

03.01.2022 "Passing on our traditions from generation to generation over thousands of years is why Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are some of the oldest on... earth, said SNAICC Chair, Muriel Bamblett a proud Yorta Yorta and Dja Dja Wurrun woman. We want to celebrate the unique knowledge and wisdom of our peoples, starting in childhood. Our children are future custodians of our cultures, and it is essential that their voices are heard today if they are to become the leaders of tomorrow. #NATSIChildrensDay2020 #EldersOfTomorrow #StrongInCulture #EarlyChildhoodMatters #HearOurVoice
