Senior Fashion and Textiles curator at the National Gallery of Victoria, Danielle Whitfield, recently interviewed Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen via Instagram TV. 25.01.2022 An interactive sculpture by Australian artist B. Jane Cowie titled 'Swirling Surround' is an entry in the international CODAworx 2020 public art award. Other Australian entries include 'Mount Pleasant Woolworths Lacefence' in Perth, a sculpture titled 'Memorial, Hardboard Diggers' in Sydney, a light projection titled 'Coexistence' for Vivid Sydney, 'Jackalope' in Melbourne and 'Cascade' in Perth. The general public has the opportunity to vote, June 18th 30th 2020, on 100 l...arge-scale community artworks from around the world! Hundreds of commissioned art projects are competing for a CODAaward; given annually to the remarkable works that successfully integrate art into interior, architectural, and public spaces. The two projects that collect the most votes will receive a coveted People’s Choice CODAaward and be announced, alongside all of this year’s CODAaward winners, in the August issue of Interior Design magazine. Vote for your favorite starting June 18th: Voters are encouraged to rally behind the work they like in CODAawards categories of Landscape, Residential, Healthcare, Commercial, Institutional, Liturgical, Public Spaces, Transportation, Hospitality, and Education. This year the 446 CODAawards entries represent $141 million in commission fees, and projects from 30 countries.
