Murray Olsson on Gidgee poison and supplements, Will Wilson on mustering with drones, Alister McDonald on solar glider type drones for water run surveillance, Dr Ross Ainsworth on opportunities for northern Australia pastoral industry after the reset of the world economy, Greg Pankhurst on longevity of the industry, Dr Mark Harvey Sutton on new Live export standards, Jason Strong Managing director of MLA on underpinning the Live export market, Trent Thorne on the ability of any business affected by the 2011 live export ban still being able to make a claim for damages in the class action against the commonwealth and what you need to know to take the next step, Senator Susan McDonald on Young people and the future of the Agricultural Industry. Susan’s message, UNIFY the Beef representative groups, work together, make your future plan and she can and will represent the industry in parliament. Join your representative groups, Agforce and the Cattle Council. Stephen Bradbury was pretty entertaining with his Last Man Standing presentation afer dinner. My summary, if we can for once in our lives put our individual differences aside and nut out a strong unified future direction for the beef industry we have a messenger that understands our industry and will do the job. The grass fed beef industry just may be in the box seat in the upcoming global economic upheaval. Every once in a while the opportunity is ripe to make changes for the better. The time is now, don’t waste it, who knows when it will come again. Get involved, get interested in your industry, make a difference. Amazing to see so many positive young people there yesterday. 03.01.2022 AgForce Queensland Young Producers’ Council Register your interest by 02 October 2020 AgForce represents the interests of over 5500 members, made of primary producers, individuals and businesses associated with the Cane, Cattle, Grain, and Sheep & Wool industries and regional communities.... As agriculture continues to be a major contributor to the Australian and Queensland economies, AgForce has never had a more important role to play as an advocate for the industry. Integral to our ongoing success as the State’s peak industry body for broadacre agriculture is the support throughout Queensland of our young producers in the 18-40 years age group. In recognition of the important role this group of producers will play in the future of the industry, AgForce would like to establish the inaugural AgForce Young Producers' Council by 01 January 2021. As the face of the next generation representing the industry, the AgForce Young Producers' Council’s mandate will be to engage with their counterparts in rural and regional Queensland, be a representative voice for all young producers who are striving to succeed in agriculture, provide much-needed support and grow their capabilities through access to industry expertise.
