25.01.2022 Will be great to see what the mixes do

25.01.2022 Just saw this on a main stream ag commodity trading newsletter.

25.01.2022 A great day with plant and animal diversity and long rest periods stressed as tools for the system

25.01.2022 These are really good results with AGFs WinterMax

25.01.2022 The difference between the shallow ditch (minimal competition, better seed soil contact and more moisture) and the paddock. Still going to get a crop I think

24.01.2022 Event postponed (again) - due to COVID lockdown Once a new date is set it will be announced on the GSSA website and social media. Thanks to all those wh...o have registered - the event will go ahead once it's safe to do so. www.grasslands.org.au

24.01.2022 The count down is on with less than a month to go for our Regenerative Agriculture Conference. Another field trip option to attendees on the 18th will be a dual... visit to both a Camperdown Organic Dairy Farm and a visit to a family run, heritage pork business. Barongarook Pork have been working closely with Corangamite Catchment Management Authority to support design and construction of water filtration and water saving infrastructure, revegetation work and renewable energy outcomes. Key environmental indicators being monitored are bird diversity, water quality and beneficial bugs, and of course animal health of their gorgeous pigs! Good time to mention the support from our farming community and catchment sponsors has been overwhelming for delivering From the Ground Up. Revitalising the strength of people in landscape is a critical element of Regenerative Agriculture and we are immensely grateful for the Fabulous collaboration. We are on track to deliver a stellar conference! Few last minute ticket grabs left - http://www.copacc.com.au//From-the-Ground-Up-Growing-Regen - This project is supported by the Southern Otway Landcare Network through funding available from the National Landcare Program , the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority and the Colac Otway Shire Council

23.01.2022 This is Angie Brownings 10ha of multi species cover crop she put in. Looks fantastic! Angie says This is our cover mix 10 hectares today 2 months since sowin...g. Can't believe it's still green with the recent dry heat. It's a bit patchy and I think the correlas ate the corn seeds. But amazing we have some biodiversity, ground cover and photosynthesis. I'm not sure what effect the impending heat will have on it . If we don't get any rain . It appears to be doing better in the gully where there may be more moisture. Nice work Angie!

22.01.2022 Love our multi species mixes on farm. Brooklands are doing a fantastic job of regenerative farming

22.01.2022 There is a lot of care and attention that goes into producing nutrient dense food that not only tastes amazing, but is also produced in a manner which regenerat...es our soils and landscape. Richard Cornish is an award winning writer whose love of the land led him to explore issues around food, provenance, how it gets to us and why it tastes so good. We are excited to have Richard joining us as guest speaker for the hyper local conference dinner at Otway Estate! He will also join us on the 20th September facilitating panel discussions with a stellar line up of speakers around ethical food consumption and land regeneration. Tis getting very exciting now......bring on September!! 01.01.2022 Cheated a little and saved some well established cover crop plants with a strategic extension of the exclusion fence around our trees. Hoping it will all turn out like this once we get the break

01.01.2022 Checked this covercrop at Brooklands with the Brix meter generously loaned from The Heytesbury district Landcare network while mine was in the post. Rapt to find a Brix of 16 indicating good plant and soil health A testament to Nats and Jono for their excellent regenerative management
