23.01.2022 Entries are now open for the much anticipated AGHS Victorian Gypsy Cob Spectacular. Held on the 13th & 14th of February at Elmore Equestrian Park, this program is jammed packed full of classes for pure and part bred Gypsy Cobs. We have a Stallion Parade on Saturday night and a roast dinner for those who would like to share a meal and get to know fellow Cob lovers. We have Show Passes on offer for those attending both days and we have Jackpot classes for those who want to match it with the best of the best. Programs can be requested by messaging the page. Please don’t forget to include a copy of your horse’s registration certificates and your membership cards with your entries so our Event Secretary can process your paperwork.

21.01.2022 We understand that showing Gypsy Cobs can be an expensive undertaking so we have decided to introduce a payment plan for those needing a little bit of flexibility. TERMS - Fees must be paid in full before the pre-entry closing date - You must send through proof of transfer for each payment made... - Total fees owed can be divided into 2, 3 or 4 installments If you would like to take up this offer, please send through your proposed payment timeline for approval. Please include dates and amounts to be paid to assist us with our decision.

Our program has changed slightly with a new added section, entries are now open for those early birds!!!! We have Show Passes on offer for those attending both days and we have Jackpot classes for those who want to match it with the best of the best. Please don’t forget to include a copy of your horse’s registration certificates and... a copy of your membership cards so our Event Secretary can process your entries. Entries for our Stallion Parade are also open, with fees at a very low price. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your colt / stallion and take bookings for the upcoming breeding season. Even if you don’t stand to outside mares, the Stallion Parade provides you with a platform to tell everyone about the sire of your young stock and sell the progeny you currently have in your paddocks. Together with the Stallion Parade, on the Saturday night we invite you all to share a meal, catch up with friends and meet fellow Cob owners. A very affordable and delicious 2 course roast dinner can be ordered via your entry form. 15.01.2022 -------ENTRIES ARE OPEN FOR APRIL DATES----------- For all those who couldn't make our February show, here is your chance to put in entries for our new April dates. You all have 2 months to show prep, get registrations done and put in for that weekend off of the 10th and 11th of April with work. ... Programs are available via email, if you would like a copy please don't hesitate to ask. Anyone wishing to add classes to their already paid entries please email Linda or message the page with your competitor number. The ABSS has made changes to the program now offering the Stallion Parade Free of charge and we have added Weanling classes. These changes do not effect the numbers in the original programs so no need to stress over your entries. Don't forget our Roast Dinner Meal will still be on the Saturday night and all competitors and spectators welcome to dine with us.

14.01.2022 Let's talk washing Cobs If you had one suggestion for an upcoming Cob owner preparing for a show, what would it be? This doesn't necessarily refer to your favourite product (but can be), but may be a particular strategy you swear by.

11.01.2022 It seems as though we have come full circle. What started out as a brand new show planned for April 2020, the most rescheduled show in history is now booked for April 2021 . While we are still slightly emotional about having to cancel at the 11th hour, we are pleased to let you know that we have jumped on the next available vacancy at the Elmore Equestrian Park. Get those Gypsy Horses ready because you have until the 10th and 11th April!!! Book your leave at work, start washing those tails and make sure you have a float ready to go. New entries welcome. 01.01.2022 Hello to all our Gypsy Cob owners, we hope everyone is well and safe. We all had our fingers and toes crossed that the show would go ahead as planned in early December, but indoor events are off the cards of reopening and I have no crystal ball as to when they will open again. With the borders closed and metro competitors locked in we don't see fair on competitors in those areas that can't attend our show's, which is why we had made the sad decision to postpone. Now for the... good news . We have a new booking for the 13th & 14th of February 2021. This new date will hopefully give enough time for EA to open the indoor to events and let our breeders and interstate people a chance to come along. Again I don't know what the future holds but I do know we are doing our best for you all to get this show off the ground. We understand that people need to show prep, arrange time away from home/work, organise helpers, book stables, etc. From all of the support and feedback we have received so far with so many wishing to still show and support us, we will be keeping you all up to date as to what the future holds to try get our 2021 show under way. The show as you would expect will be protocols in place to reduce the risk to attendees but l'm sure you won't mind signing in or visiting sanitising stations if you get a chance to show your beautiful ponies.
