04.01.2022 Have you seen mice at your place? How are you managing them? David Meppem, who farms between Narrabri and Wee Waa, says he hasn't seen mice in such big num...bers for years, maybe decades, and they're damaging his mungbean crop. He says they're also bad at the house. "I'm actively seeking another carpet snake at the moment to throw in the ceiling. We put them up there every couple of years and don't normally have any mice or rats," he said. And in true neighbourly fashion he's already had an offer! Dave at Wee Waa sent in this photo on the left, offering a solution. But Trevor at Narrabri says he's not sharing his snake (right) which is keeping the mice out of his veggie patch!
