24.01.2022 A new grower group has been formed with the amalgamation of LEADA and EPARF to become Agricultural Innovation & Research Eyre Peninsula Inc. (AIR EP). The aim of AIR EP is to be a professional, farmer-directed organisation that drives the advancement and practical application of scientific research, development and extension in agriculture. The response from various stakeholders to the merger have been very positive to date, with organisations keen to develop strong working r...elationships with AIR EP. The inaugural Board members have been appointed and they will meet once seeding has been completed. The Board have appointed Naomi Scholz as Executive Officer, who is in the process of setting up the new organization and getting everything in place in readiness for full operation for the long term, building on the strong foundations laid by EPARF and LEADA.
