25.01.2022 8.7kW solar power system with 10kwh of battery storage This customer lives in Tolmie, country Victoria. We installed 8.7kW of solar PV and 10kWh of battery storage with about 8kWh of usable power.... We will be monitoring their electricity usage over the next 12 months to make sure the Solar Powered Battery Storage System covers the seasonal conditions that affects domestic consumption. and then we will sit down with the owners and decide if we need to increase the battery storage. 22.01.2022 7.5kW micro inverters in Templestowe This system is a 7.5kW Solar Power System fitted with an additional micro inverter system in Templestowe. We used micro inverters because there is a large tree on the eastern side of the house that shades the solar panels installed on the east side of the roof on winter mornings.... Its a fraction more expensive, however the micro inverters makes sure the total performance of the Solar Power system is not limited by the shaded panels. The 7.5kW system is bigger than what the customer requires and like many of customers, they are wanting to install a Solar Powered battery storage in the 12-24 months. The cost of installing grid power was excessive. He first built a shed for storage and to install the solar power panels, solar power equipment and battery storage.... The solar and battery system was installed on the shed so the trades people building the house had power. Due to budget constraints, we installed a 8.8kWh battery system that can be added onto. We removed that system from the roof, and installed a pitched system on the north and west roof.... This was to maximize the sun through the whole of the day. Due to the location of this customer, he had great difficulty getting someone to come to his place.
