BURRATA WITH SMOKED PAPRIKA To be able to enjoy housemade burrata is truly special but it’s even more special this week with a sprinkling of Richard Weston’s @westonfarm smoked paprika. Richard not only grows the chilli on his farm but he also smokes it there as well (no pun intended!)... GRILLED ANGASI OYSTER WITH POTATO MISO 3-year-old native oyster from Yvonne + Steve @theoysterprovince We’ve shucked the oyster then grilled it briefly before tossing it with some potato miso, kefir cream. This miso was made from offcuts from our potato cake potatoes, which were cooked then mixed with koji, salt and water, and allowed to ferment #nowaste here. 07.01.2022 Housemade Panforte is just one of the desserts included in our dine-in set menu this weekend. Panforte is a traditional chewy Italian dessert of fruit and nuts. Our version is a little bit special as we have used hazelnuts grown here in Tasmania at Lonnavale + weve candied grapefruit rind from Mr Coopers grapefruits grown down the road at Plenty + added a local blend of leatherwood + tea tree honey. 01.01.2022 An opportunity exists for an exceptional hospitality professional to join our Agrarian Kitchen team as Kiosk Supervisor. Located in New Norfolk our Kiosk is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11am - 2:00pm serving a range of sweet and savoury dishes, beverages and coffee. All items in the kiosk are prepared by our chefs using seasonal, local produce and a range of house made bread, pastry, cheese and charcuterie. With the development of the cooking school and kitchen garden at... this site there is plenty to learn while working with The Agrarian Kitchen for someone with a passion for produce, cooking and agriculture. We have a casual role as Kiosk Supervisor available for approximately 10 hours a week. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a similar takeaway, café or bakery environment looking for a casual position. You will be responsible for: 1. managing the day to day operations of the kiosk 2. upholding an incredible level of customer service that guests can't wait to come back to. 3. you'll need to be a proactive thinker and work in an organised and efficient manner with an eye for detail. You will be working with 1-2 other team members in the kiosk and alongside the dining room front of house and kitchen teams.
