22.01.2022 I spent the day in Armidale yesterday. It was great to see plenty of water and feed around. I caught up with some business partners including a few Bankers, an accountant, Real estate agent & grain marketer. A few take outs of the day included;... - Banks are still lending & keen to support Ag. - Real Estate in the New England is doing well especially with the current season & abundance of feed. - Make use of the Governments Instant Asset Write Off ~ up to $150,000 on asset purchases by 30th June 2020. - Grain prices are on the rise I also realised at the end of the day that the Parking Inspectors in Armidale have not taken on the "Working From Home" advice from the Government.

19.01.2022 Government's Economic Response to Coronavirus The government intends to introduce legislation in late March 2020 to implement its Economic Response to Coronavirus. The government is increasing the instant asset write-off (IAWO) threshold from $30,000 to $150,000 and expanding access to include businesses with aggregated annual turnover of less than $500 million (up from $50 million).... This proposal applies from 12 March 2020 until 30 June 2020, for new or second-hand assets first used, or installed ready for use in this timeframe.
