25.01.2022 Introducing our very own "Agricon Cowboy" young Joey Wagner - Toowoomba born and bred - Joey holds an unwavering dedication to one of the toughest extreme sports in the world , Bull Riding ! It might be a little while before you get to see Joey in action again in the arena but he tells us when we caught up for a yarn that he has been practicing hard at home while all rodeo events are currently on hold. We asked Joey to tell us a bit more about himself and why he is so p...assionate about his sport. If you’ve got the guts, you can do it, he told us. I picked it up when I was 13, and was hooked on it by 14, you have to totally commit to riding or go home. 8 seconds doesn’t sound like a long time, but you soon realise a lot can happen when things are moving fast Joey said. Riding this year has been much different to last year, now I’ve got my P’s and being able to leave boarding school on weekends, I can hop on more bulls and compete more consistently. With 4 wins this year already under his belt in novice and junior bull riding, Joey is forging himself a name as a tough competitor & one to watch. I’m grateful for the generous support of Agricon Products, it has given me a huge helping hand with competing on a regular basis around the circuit Joey said. We'll keep you posted on his progress when the arena's are once again open - watch this space !
