18.01.2022 Nice work by the Agri Dairies Mount Gambier team on the recent upgrade to this 32 unit rotary dairy. We installed new DeLaval automatic cup removers, retention bars (with retention arm control gear), Daviesway flexible retention arm straps. this install has also included a EasyDairy system, cups on touch screen, Feed system control, ... Easy ID identifies cows using the NLIS tags as they step on the platform. Relevant information and spoken alerts such as milk withhold or 3 teaters are displayed on screens in the dairy to ensure costly mistakes are avoided. Cows are individually fed to maximise production, depending on feed usage, the system usually pays for itself in well under 12 months. Touch screen operation makes it very easy to look up or enter information as required. Easy ID can grow with you. The system can be expanded to include automatic cattle sorting, milk metering, automatic heat detection, walk over scales, on platform teat sprayers and many other options including the soon to be released mobile app allowing you to look up cows and enter data as it happens in the paddock. 13.01.2022 Over the past week and a half the AgriDairies team have installed 60 units of DeLaval MPC150B on a Rotary, then a few days removing all old equipment and tidying the rotary up. This was stage 1 of this job, stage 2 is installing EasyDairy automation & LIC Saber Milk Metering. This upgrade so far is saving this customer 1hr per milking & more milk in the vat. A little bit about DeLaval MPC150B ... DeLaval MPC100 Series All units are based on the same compact design with a triple-sealed plastic enclosure to protect your investment from the harsh environment in the parlor and also during high pressure cleanings. The button sits in a snap on/snap off mount and is easy to take away to clean or replace in seconds. The multi colored LED is mounted in a molded dome for protection and visibility.

09.01.2022 Vacuum Pump upgrade, removing 2 older Lobe pumps that had dropped in efficiency, 2x DeLaval LVP4500 vacuum pumps were chosen for this farm, with 50% more capacity than existing. 05.01.2022 Michael from the Agri Dairies Victor Harbor team recently completed the installation of this new DeLaval LVP4500 Vacuum Pump & VSD drive unit. Key features include: - The pump head includes two figure-eight lobes, rotating in opposite directions. With every rotation, a constant volume of air is transferred.... - A special discharge chamber is situated at the pump head outlet which gives you a much smoother and quieter run. - Since the closely-aligned lobes never touch, no lubricant is required within the pump unit itself. - The highly-efficient distribution tank filter protects your investment even further by filtering out particles larger than 10 microns, which can be harmful for the pump. - DeLaval vacuum pumps come pre-assembled so they can be installed between milkings, meaning it will be ready to go to work as soon as you are.
