As of 1am on 3 November, the Queensland Government changed border restrictions. Here’s what you need to know before making a move:... Parts of NSW are still closed to Queensland. This link details the COVID-19 hotspots in greater Sydney - https://www.qld.gov.au///current-status/hotspots-covid-19 - if you live/stay here, you CANNOT come to QLD. Qld is still closed to anyone from Victoria. Qld is open to all other states and territories. You must complete a Queensland Border Declaration Pass before you enter the state - https://www.qld.gov.au/border-pass/general. People can transfer through a hotspot by road as long as they stop only for essential fuel, supplies and to manage driver fatigue, wear a mask when stopping and don’t stay overnight in a hotspot. You can fly to Queensland from Sydney airport. You can come to Queensland from the Spirit of Tasmania if they immediately leave Victoria by road or air after disembarking the vessel and do not stay overnight in a hotspot on their way to Queensland.
